Aurapaw's Assessment

OoC: Exactly how much more prey must I catch? ^^;

Aurapaw finally managed to sink his teeth in the bird's abdomen, killing it immediately before burying it as well and spitting out a few feathers that managed to get into his mouth.

OOC: Uh.. XD Maybe hunt until this page is finished? XD I don't know, when Graystream gave me and darkie our assesments, we hunted until we couldn't think of stuff to hunt anymore. ^^

Goldenfeather turned around and started to head back. He can do the rest on his own, She thought.

Aurapaw wandered around the forest rather aimlessly as he tried to pick up a scent, but to no avail. He was hoping for a rabbit, but today didn't seem to be his day.

OOC: Aww.. XD I'm going back to camp to wait for you. XD

OoC: Okay. :3

Aurapaw decided to run mindlessly through the forest, hoping to cause any hiding rabbits to stir around and sprint away.

OOC: XD *sarcasm* Lol, great stratagy.

Eventually, Aurapaw caught sight of a white rabbit tail twitch and vanish from behind a bush and leapt at it, squirming through the branches and leaves as he tries to sink his teeth into whatever he'd caught.

OOC: OWO I have no idea what to say now. XP

Aurapaw spat out a few hairs and glanced down at the plump, juicy rabbit he'd killed and glanced around, wondering if his mentor was still watching.

OoC: When should we end this, then? :3

OOC: XP Uh... in 4 posts? XD

OoC: But I can't think of anything else to catch! Like, maybe, what, a SNAIL? o3o

Aurapaw proceeded to burying the rabbit and searching the rest of the environment.

OOC: XD Fine. Just catch one more thing and then head on back to camp. XP

Aurapaw sniffed at the ground and, after catching a slightly familiar scent, began burrowing. Soon, he stopped and tried to bite at something in the hole before pulling out a plump pink worm.

OoC: ... :3

OOC :: OWO A worm?!

OoC: Yup! Filled with protein! I'll be sure to bring it to you in the Warriors' den post haste! >w<;

Aurapaw quickly gathered up the day's catch and eventually brought everything-- the vole, the bird, the rabbit, and the worm-- back to camp.
