Another Glimmering Night means More Births (Closed)

The now depressed Salmonstripe glared at the vole, then reluctantly ate it, though her stomach hurt with sadness.

She ate the vole silently, sobbing into her mate's paw gently. "Whitefoot...No, please" She cried in-between her loud - but soft - sobs. "I'm probably going to soon." She responded sadly to her mate.

As much as she loved him, she loved her Clan... and her family as much also.

Troutstep heard the commotion and went to find his mother and Whitefoot. He had heard that she was going to kit soon and was really pissed off about it. "Great Starclan! More kits? Take a break Salmonstripe!" he howled, walking beside Whitefoot.

As another one of her annoying sons stepped in, she spat to Troutstep, "You don't tell me what to do! I am your birth mother, after all! You give me a break! You two are massive paw-FULLS!"

She was heart-broken. She had loved her sons so much, yet... They seemed to hate her. It was simply... so sad. And, on top of Dewleaf dying... It saddened the queen terribly.

"I don't care if you don't want more kits. Since Dewleaf died, and you idiots fox-hearts don't care, then go tell Fishstar! Go tell her that your precious mated with a rouge and gave birth to KITS!!!" She let out a furious yowl. "Moonlight, let's go. I want to go live with you. I want to take out family... leaving Whitefoot and Troutstep behind, of course." Mumbled Salmonstripe dryly to Moonlight.

Whitefoot lashed his tail of course, "You aren't my birthmother! And I'm glad you're leaving without me!" He spat, pleased his brother had shown up.

Troutstep sat in silence. Mated with a rouge? How.... How could she? He stared at the ground.

Moonlight stood and picked up the soon to be Willow and nudged his beloved mate up gently and supported her. Gently he picked up the soon to be Slushkit as well and lashed his tail back and forth and his fur bristled. These fox-hearts can't be the sons of my sweet Salmonstripe! They are rude and unruly! Not to mention grumps. He thought noting that the one who called himself 'Troutstep' was a grump.
