Jollykit ran out of the nursery with excitement 'today I'm becoming an apprentice!' She thought. She sat down underneath the Willow branch with her eyes gleaming and her coat was brushed with licks.

Whitefoot heard the call and slunk to the shaded part of camp, seeing his younger sister sprint from the nursery told him Salmonstripe's second brood was becoming apprentices. Sighing he kept his mouth shut and searched for his brother Troutstep.
