IC: Leopardfang was shaken by the force of the fox's blow. It was at this moment that he realized it was a rather poor idea to take on a fox by himself, out in the territory without backup anywhere nearby. Surely now, with such a serious wound inflicted upon both him and Shimmerpaw, they would be eaten whole by the ginger-furred beast. He'd never felt such a wave of relief as when Magpiewing jumped into the fray, taking the fox's hind leg in his jaw. I must move quickly! Seizing the opportunity, Leopardfang leaped upon the enemy's back and dug in with his claws, determined to fight till the last of his strength was sapped. For Shimmerpaw!
Leopardfang used Leap-and-Hold on the fox, dealing 17 damage and using 10 stamina. Stunned for 1 turn.

| The fox snarled and snapped as the two small-animals-with-claws attacked him. Couldn't one hunt in peace? He decided, as one of them sprang onto his back, that no prey could possibly be worth these injuries. Next time he would steer clear of this area.
In a lucid haze, Shimmerpaw could see the fox attacked by not one, but two cats. Am I hallucinating? she thought drowsily. Her half-conscious brain found it ironic that she had only just recovered from her foolish fall into the gorge and was now once again wounded. Would misfortune never leave her alone?
