The re-encounter

Blizzard stood in the barn, waiting for the beautiful she-cat to meet him.

The brown tabby stood at the barn's entrance, taking a deep breath before padding in. "Blizzard?" Iris called before she saw him. He was handsome, like usual, and she admired him by the way the light shined onto his fur perfectly and the way his tail swooshed magnificently. "Hi," she said quietly as she walked towards him. An odd feeling deep inside of her warmed her up and made her smile.

Blizzard smiled. "Hello, Iris."

Iris purred when he said her name. The brown she-cat with black tabby stripes leaped onto a pile of straw and sat down, curling her raccoon-like tail around her paws. "Tell me about Boneclan," said Iris. She wanted to know if they were like the clan that she came from that lived in the forest. Since she and Spirit were starting a clan together, she hoped that Boneclan would get along with them.

Blizzard thought for a " I just got apprenticed. It was real late, though. I could choose to be a specific hunter, or fighter, we all have our own jobs."

Iris nodded and moved to a laying position, resting her head on her paws. "Really? That's a lot of jobs. From where I came from, I think there was only two jobs, a warrior and a medicine cat. Becoming a warrior was more common, though." Iris really didn't know how Thunderclan worked until Spirit told her. The she-cat sighed and let her tail sprawl out behind her. She stared at her mate...if he even was that now. She wasn't sure.
