A Lazy Day (Open)

This is how life was. Boring. Flames limped to his den from his spot in the center of camp. He yawned, though he wasn't tired. Then again, he was getting old. His son had a mate and had kits already. He was seriously thinking about retiring soon. And this is how life is. Ugh. I wonder why Orbit is still so happy? Wait, she has to raise Blizzard. Ugh. He gave a large sigh, tossing and turning in his small nest of moss. His back ached; it made it harder for him to walk. He groaned.

Eagle burst out of his den with a large smile on his face. Purring, he leapt into the air. "Mommy! Moonlight, Dapple! Come on let's play!" He yelled excitedly.

"Why is there no food left? I'm getting hungry!" He complained, searching for any food. Did anyone hunt this morning? Did Daddy finally come back? I have to ask Mommy!

Trotting over to his mother, he asked, "Mommy, did Daddy come home yet?"

Orbit sat next to Flames. "Flames, Blizzard is old enough to move out now."

Ooc: Does any kit want to be orbit's apprentice. Cause boneclan needs a new med. Cat when she retires.

Moonlight quietly padded after his mother and when she began 'the lecture' he padded over to join his grandmother Orbit. Purring he briefly nuzzled her and stood there with his head on her shoulder. " good morning gramma." he purred sweetly. He never really talked unless it was to his mother or grandparents or his siblings.

OOC:Moonlight could be her apprentice

Eagle shyly pinned his ears back at his Mommy's harsh tone. Why is Mommy so... Mean? He thought. "Sorry, Mommy. Could you go hunt for me?" He asked in his gently voice.


OOC: I could have Eagle as herb gatherer. There's two ranks that require different cats: One, herb gatherer, two: Med cat. Also, we allow mates.

Orbit smiled. "Good morning, my Moon."


Ooc: ok. When could you make the ceremonies?

OOC: I'll Make them after the Deputy Ceremony is finished.

IC: Flames poked his head out of his den. "Hello, little ones. How are you today?" He said in a sour voice, yet tried to sound cheery as possible.

Eagle turned to his grandfather, "Hello, Grandpa Flames! I'm great, yet hungry! How are you?" He replied back, in his gentle soft voice.

Dapple unfurled from where she was curled up in her bed of foliage. The little calico she yawning as she woke up at the noise of her brother, ears twitching as she listened to him speak. "Flames is the best hunter, could you please catch something for us? Or better yet, teach us?"

Flames looked at Dapple, "Well, Dapple. There is a time for that. Your time has yet to come." He sighed, wishing his grandchildren would already be old enough. "When you're all 6 moons old, that's when you can start."

Eagle stared at his mother, "No thanks, Mommy! I could learn when I'm apprentice!"

Flames chuckled gently, sitting down where he was. Meadow seemed full of contentment. Kits! Hilarious. You have to enjoy it now. He wanted to yell out to her, but instead kept his mouth shut. His whiskers twitched, and his tail swayed wildly.

Meadow shrugged at Eagle, and waited for her other kits' answers.

OOC: Meadow sighed in amusement, not annoyance....
