The Traditional Patrol

Storm nodded gratefully to get off that depressing subject, flicking his tail against Meadow's leg playfully he loped on ahead of the patrol purring.

Flames simply said, Well, it's getting late out, do you want to head back to camp soon? If not, just tell me what you want to do then." He purred, walking into a large empty clearing. "Here is where me and Orbit became mates. I wish you two would have became mates there too... But, then again, it is me and Orbit's special place." Flames explained.

The setting sun glimmered as the last few rays hit Flames's fur, warming him up. He panted quietly, and mewed to the couple, "Well, then. Let us head back, shall we?"

Meadow dashed after Storm, and batted playfully at his ears. Then she turned and nodded to Flames, following her leader back to camp.
