Meeting New People

Dawnkit left the nursery cautiously. She wanted to explore.

Mousepaw trotted out of the apprentices den. She smelled a kit, and followed the kit's scent leading to Dawnkit, "Hello, there! I'm Mousepaw. Who are you?" She playfully greeted, smiling.

Dawnkit looked up nervously. "Dawnkit." she said quietly.

OOC: Mousepaw is blind, jsyk

IC: "Nice to meet you! Wanna play a game?" She purred, remembering the smell of Dawnkit.

Dawnkit stared up Mousepaw, not saying anything.

"No thank you." Dawnkit said.

Coalkit staggered out of the nursery. Or rather, she had been shoved out of the nursery! Her mousebrained parents had commanded her to go explore the camp. Her eyes had just opened! Her small forum shuddered as she took another step into the camp. She wanted friends, but where to get any? All these cats were.. huge!

Coalkit pinned her ears against her head as she saw another kit. Maybe.. they could be her friend. "Hi." She meowed, trying to put happiness into her speech, but it came out as stern. "Want- want ttt.. To play mouse- moss-ball?" she asked the kitten, and the gigantic cat there was making her stutter!

Mousepaw shrugged and said, "Maybe when you're an apprentice we can go hunt together." She smiled again when another kit came over. "Hello, little kit! What is your name?"

Coalkit squealed in surprise when the large cat spoke. "My name?..." she paused, frozen with terror and trying to remember her name. She tried to look away, but her gaze seemed to be glued to the large cats. "My name is Coalkit. What is your name?" Coalkit wondered if the name was something that suggested how huge the cat was. Maybe it was Hugekit. That would make sense!
