Sunpelt drew in a sharp breath, ready to argue. But he knew that the deputy was right. Meadow was a deserter and a traitor.

But she's your niece! a voice deep inside him shrieked. You can't just desert her!

Like she deserted ThunderClan? Sunpelt argued with himself. Oh, what am I doing? I can't argue with myself.

The yellow tabby shook himself, and nodded at Duskfall. "Duskfall, I'd like to give ThunderClan some brief information. May I?"

Storm had slipped into the bushes nearby the camp entrance as his mate and father bolted away, kneading the ground impatiently he waited for Summitpaw. I must apologize! For Meadow! He poked his head out keeping his ears pricked at the conversation.

Robinflight moved aside for Sunpelt, visibly relieved that someone else was here to help her ward off the rogues. She looked over Meadowpaw, or whatever she called herself as a rogue, and noted how closely she stood to the gray tom. It was a shame, really, that ThunderClan had lost so many members recently. She listened quietly to Sunpelt and the tabby rogue going back and forth in argument before the small group fled, yowling back at the Clan cats over their shoulders. She looked at Sunpelt with a bit of a smirk before moving out of the way for Duskfall. She could see the deputy was serious, so she dropped the smirk from her face and answered seriously, "Yes, Duskfall. I will spread the news after my guard shift has ended." Robinflight took up her post next to the entrance, so that traveling in and out was possible again.

Cloverpool padded out of the nursery with Minnowkit and hopefully Goldenkit behind er she padded over to her mate. "What's all this commotion about?" She meowed.

Minnowkit bounced after her mother and acid deftly number into her father. "Oof sorry daddy. What's wrong daddy?" she meowed and pressed against her fathers leg.

Summitpaw padded out of the apprentices den and yawned he smiled as she saw his aunt and uncle and cousins. He padded over to them but stayed away from the gorse wall. He crouched down beside Minnowkit and Goldenkit. "Hey Minnowkit how's it going?"

"Hu Summitpaw! I'm fine how about you?" she replied and gave his ear a flick of her tail.

Cloverpool smiled as Summitpaw came over to play with the kits. "Summitpaw why don't you take them over there to play?" She meowed and pointed with her tail to a spot in the shade next to the gorse wall.
Summitpaw nodded and flicked his tail for The kits to follow him.

Minnowkit padded after her cousin.

"Good." His ears flicked with approval at Robinflight's prompt reply and action, Duskfall was happy to see that she was taking to being a warrior with greater responsibilities well. He'd been concerned that perhaps he'd been too hands off as a mentor, but it seemed it was for naught. The tom dipped his head for her to continue before responded to the other warrior with him, Sunpelt. "Hm? What information, Sunpelt? The idea rogues got this close to camp would be frightening enough for the queens and kits, so I would like to hear whatever you have to say first."

Gasping, Flames said, "I have no idea! We have to go find him," He growled, "If they lay a paw on him they're going to get it back twice  as hard!"


He headed back to the camp, snarling. "She obviously feels no more loyalty to ThunderClan, so if for example, if one of the rouges attack you, do not plead Meadow for help." Was all Flames needed to hear, before wanting to kill the cat that said that. I will get revenge... These stupid idiots! We. Will. Kill. Everyone. Of. Them...

Storm wiggled his rump and hissed to Summitpaw, "You! Come here!" He whispered, then in hopes of getting the kittens attention, which would bring Summitpaw. He flicked his tail in and out of the bush he was in.

"I will inform Spottedstar of this, and one of us will handle this meeting. It's not that I don't trust you, Sunpelt. But this sort of thing must be handled delicately. Rogue invasions, if they are as fierce as you say, are no joke. And the loss of an apprentice to those filth will not sit well with most of the clan." The deputy said once Sunpelt had finished his speech. The warrior spoke candidly, and with grace, but perhaps a little too heavy handed for some more delicate ears. Duskfall took what Sunpelt said very seriously, particularly the fact Meadow sat back and watched as her brother was mauled. This was the gravest of betrayals. "Don't worry yourself Cloverpool, Sunpelt, no rogue will harm any of ours again. They may be able to take on an apprentice gathered in a group like cowards, but they are no match for our warriors. If they come onto our territory again, they'll leave in pieces or not at all."

He finished succinctly, tail curling and unfurling with aggravation at the thought these rogues thought it wise to harm any of their clan. And the moment Meadowpaw, Meadow left to join them, she was just as bad in his eyes. He may have adopted two rogues, but there would be no mercy from Duskfall. He made the mental distinction between filthy rogues and kits reared by their ways clear. Soaringwing, Silkcloud had been warriors true to the code. These were heathens, uncultured and no better than crowfood.

Minnowkit nodded. "Yes daddy." she padded back over to Summitpaw and pounced on his tail.

Summitpaws ear flicked hear the similar voice of Storm. "Sunpelt, Duskfall! There's the rouge cat by the name of Storm here in the gorse tunnel!" he hissed and drew how tail around Minnowkit and Goldenkit to keep them close. He picked the up and padded over to Cloverpool quickly and set them down next to her.

Cloverpools fur bristled and she nodded thankfully to Summitpaw. She say and curled her tail around them and kept them close to her.

Minnowkit looked scared for the first time in her life she burried her face in her mothers fur and his there.

Summitpaw padded back over to where he heard the voice. "Come out now and face Thunderclan." he growled and to Storm.

Goldenkit yelped and whimpered. "Mommy! Let me go fight them. I'm stronger than a warrior!" He spat, angrily bounding up to Flames. He pinned his ears back, and stared up into the larger cats eyes.

Flames growled as a cat walked up to him, then relaxed when he saw it was a kit. He nervously looked around, not wanting to make himself look like he stole a kit. He lifted the kit by his scruff, and placed it next to Cloverpool.

"Let me go! Mommy!" Goldenkit cried, snuggling up with his mother as Flames let go of him. He let out a hiss to Flsmes, and snuggled even tighter to Cloverpool.

Cloverpool got up and growled. "Let go of my kit Rouge!" She unsheathed her claws and hissed. Her fur bristling. Once surge rouge set down her son she picked him up and carried him back in o Minnowkit and started to lick him all over. "Don't ever do that again." She growled and then purred and wraped her tail around both of them again and putting them behind her front legs.

Minnowkit eyes widened as Goldenkit ran away so when their mother was done licking him Minnowkit gave him a lick on the cheek.

Summitpaw reached into o he gorse wall and dragged out Storm by his scruff. "What do yoI think your doing here? Not trying to steal Minnowkit and Goldenkit I hope." he growled and let go of the rouge. Summitpaw was much bigger than last time they saw each other and Storm looked a bit smaller in fact about the same size as last time. His blue eyes narrowed and his fiery orangish-yellow pelt bristled and fluffed out making him look twice his size.

Watchful green eyes glared out into the clearing from the warrior's den. "That rouge tried to steal that kit," hissed Stormstrike as she pounced out of the darkness and over to the rouge, claws unsheathed. "Leave now, you flea-bag! Nobody touches Thunderclan's kits." she swiped a claw at the rouge's face, knowing that if she started a fight, she would definitely win because the rouges were out numbered...by a lot. And plus, Stormstrike loved fighting
