Magpiepaw and Cinderpaw's Warrior Ceremonies

"Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath Jaggerock for a clan meeting!" Thrushstar yowled.

Mousepaw walked into camp from a hunting patrol. Quickly throwing her mouse and frog into the Freshkill pile, she trotted over to the Jaggedrock.

Magpiepaw's ear twitched at the sound of Thrushstar's call. He yawned loudly and stretched his back before rising from his nest and exiting the den. A new apprentice? He quickly made his way to the Jaggedrock and sat beside Mousepaw, saying hi to the blind apprentice so she would not be scared. Perhaps he could return to his nap later.

Leopardfang sat in the clearing, a yawn parting his jaws and causing him to flash his sharp teeth. He glanced around the clearing I see if there were any cats who had been told it would be their ceremony, but no one around seemed to look like they were ready to be given a new name. Leopardfang nodded to Magpiepaw and gave a quiet meow of greeting to Mousepaw.

Cinderpaw padded outside from the apprentices' den, hearing Thrushstar's call. She felt satisfied as an apprentice: to hunt with her Clanmates and join patrols. Such new experiences were always exciting. The gray she-cat padded towards the group of gathered apprentices and warrior including Mousepaw, Magpiepaw and Leopardfang. Cinderpaw nodded her head in greeting to the cats, especially to Magpiepaw, remembering their hunt together. It was a pleasant newleaf for the she-cat, and she found herself admiring the tom.

OOC: Sorry guys. I got caught up in life and haven't had the time to get on like.. what-so-ever. So I'll try to speed this up a little bit.

"Tonight we gather to make these apprentices warriors. Magpiepaw, Cinderpaw, please step forward." When the two cats did so, Thrushstar continued. "Do you promise to serve and protect this clan, as well as uphold the warrior code, even at the cost of your life?"

This was his warrior ceremony?! The tom grew ecstatic, his paws shuffling from pure excitement. He smiled at Cinderpaw, happy to be earning his new name by her side. "I do," Magpiepaw meowed proudly.

IC: Cinderpaw felt excitement to find out it was finally her warrior ceremony. After many moons of training, the she-cat felt rather honoured to live on as a warrior for her Clan. "I do," she spoke with confidence, but a bit of nervousness croaked her mew. I'm so happy I can become a warrior with you, Magpiepaw!

OOC: I am so sorry. I tried to get on but never had the time this past week...

"Then by the powers of Starclan, I grant you your warrior name. Magpiepaw, from now on you will be known as Magpiewing. Cinderpaw, you will be known as Cindershade. We welcome you as full warriors of Shadowclan," Thrushstar said before leaping off of the rock to let the rest of the clan finish the ceremony.
