"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath this stone for a clan meeting!" Duskfall yowled, calling over ThunderClan to discuss the matter of returning back to the forest. From what he'd seen on the patrol with Batpaw, Daisypaw, Sweetpaw and Viperpaw, the camp was ready to be inhabited again. They'd been gone from the forest too long, and it was time to go home.

He'd missed sleeping under the trees, and the fact their were kits who'd never seen camp before was an atrocity. It was time for their clan to take their rightful place in the forest again, and he was glad to be the bringer of this good news.

Coalpaw padded from the makeshift medicine cats den upon hearing her father's Clan call. She sat quietly to listen.

Softsong looked up from where she laid and got to her paws and sat to listen.

Specklefur emerged from a crevice from in-between the rocks her long fur snagging until she pulled against it roughly and escaped with a few less strands of fur to worry about. Heavily walking from exhaustion the senior warrior sat herself down in front of Duskfall, dipping her head respectfully to the tom.

Silkpaw woke up and walked out of the apprentices' den. Looking up at Duskfall's call, she sat down curling her tail around her paws.

Sunpelt padded from the warriors' den, and sat down a little ways away from Softsong. He looked up at Duskfall.

Flamestripe followed Sunpelt out and sat down beside Silkpaw. He purred, and flicked her flank with his tail.

"ThunderClan, the time has come! We can go home. I've seen the camp myself and the brambles walls have grown back. And the trees have grown back their leaves. It is time we took our rightful place in the forest once more." Duskfall could barely contain his joy as he announced this news before the clan. Though it wasn't all fun and joy, since to return, many things still had to be done. The camp had been uninhabited for too long, and scent markers had faded away. Returning wouldn't be easy or safe without work.

"As the camp has been abandoned for a while, much will need to be done to restore it to it's former self. Specklefur, I put you in charge of repairing the bramble walls to how they used to be. You may have Silkpaw, and a couple of other apprentices to help you. Coalpaw, work with Nightfire to replenish the medicine cat den, take Fawnpaw as help. Softsong, I place you in charge of repairing the nursery, get Frostsnap to help you. Hawkstrike, you are in charge of fixing the warrior's den. I'll deal with the apprentice's den." After listing the most immediate duties, Duskfall continued on. "As for the rest of the warriors and apprentices, you will continue hunting and patrolling. Put up our scent markers again, and make sure all the clans know we won't appreciate any incursions. Any spare time you have will have to be spent on repairs for now. But tonight, we rest and celebrate our return. From tomorrow, hard work begins. That is all."

Specklefur could just barely contain her cheers and joy as she once more bowed her head as she turned her head to the gather clan. "Thank you Duskfall, I'll need all the apprentice's I can get. Lead us all in a victory yowl, we all have won today though our battle will still continue and get yourself and your patrol plump mice from the pile tonight your patrol deserves it." Specklefur meowed, her voice bold as she made herself over the tide of cheers. "Echopaw, Tigerpaw and Cloverpaw you're all with me and Silkpaw for barrier repairing, sleep well tonight!" She ordered as she looked briefly at all four apprentices that she listed.

Silkpaw smiled when her name was mentioned. I wonder what it's like there! I can't wait! Silkpaw thought. "Yes, Specklefur. " She said. "What's it like there? Is it nicer than here?" She said silently to herself.

Fawnpaw skipped over to Coalpaw, "this is fantastic! I've never seen camp! " She squeaked, suddenly remembering she was talking to a medicine cat apprentice she straightened up. "What would you like me to do?"

Sunpelt nodded at Duskfall, and then turned to the cats. He wondered if he should organize a patrol now, or let the senior warriors do it. He looked questioningly up at the deputy, waiting for permission. Sunpelt hated being uncertain about his warrior duties, and it felt odd to look to another warrior for help when he was a warrior himself. But you're a very young warrior, he reminded himself.

Frozenflame looked up at Duskfall. "May I help with the warrior's den also?" He asked.

Stormpaw groaned quietly. She was tired of hunting and patroling. She obayed anyway and walked away.

Soaringwing nodded to the deputy and padded away.

Foxfang wanted to grin and cheer in the joy of returning to camp, but there was work to be done. Seeing Sunpelt looking lost not too far away, the ginger tom called out to him. "Sunpelt! Help grab a couple cats and there'll be a hunting patrol."

Sunpelt nodded, relieved to be told what to do. He hurried over to Foxfang, and mewed quickly, "I'll go get my apprentice." He padded over to where Eaglepaw was sitting and nudged his shoulder. "Come on, we're going on a hunting patrol. Remember those skills I taught you!"
