Dewpaw waited for her friends outside the camp entrance excitedly, this is the first day they could all hang out without being too busy. She couldn't help but wriggle in anticipation for the day that awaited them. Keeping her grey ears perked she sat with her paws kneading into the ground.

Creampaw awoke curled in her nest in the apprentices den. She immediately scented Dewpaw outside, and wondered what her friend was doing.

She crept out of the den, and mewed, "Hey, Dewpaw! Why are you sitting out here?"

Salmonpaw awoke at the sound of Creampaw's voice. "What's going on out there?" She mewed tiredly. It had been a long day, so waking up earlier was not much of a choice for her. Salmonpaw got up and stretched, and padded next to Creampaw. "Why are you up so early?" She complained. "Its barely sun-high!"

"It's not early, silly!" Creampaw purred. "Two of the hunting patrols already came back, not to mention like three border patrols!" She swatted at Salmonpaw's ear with her paw, claws sheathed.

"Fine, if you say so Creampaw. So Dewpaw? What are we doing?" Salmonpaw sighed. "I have to eat something before we leave..." She walked over to the fresh kill pile, and took a frog.

Dewpaw wrinkled her nose, something she often did when id deep thought. "Well.. We could go down to the River and fish?" She tilted her head and purred.

Salmonpaw smiled. But then she meowed, "Let's go. I'll tell you later." Without waiting, she padded to the exit/ entrance of camp. "Let's go to the River."
