Sunpaw took one more look at Soaringpaw and Stormpaw through narrowed eyes, and then padded over to sit next to Cloverpaw. He hissed into her ear, "Those hideous excuses for cats!" But when Sunpaw looked into her beautiful amber eyes, his neck fur started to lie flat. Whenever he was angry or upset, Cloverpaw could calm him just by being in front of him. That was only one of the reasons he loved her.

Not caring what Soaringpaw and Stormpaw said, he mewed, "I'm sorry, Cloverpaw. I got carried away. But you don't blame me, do you?" he asked, half-afraid of the answer. What if Cloverpaw thought that he was the one who provoked the fight? Sunpaw looked anxiously into her eyes.

Cloverpaw looked into Sunpaws but nothing but love was reflected in her eyes. "Of course I don't blame you Sunpaw." She purred and licked his cheek affectionately.

Stormpaw growled as the apprentice jumped onto her. She rolled him off her back and slapped him hard with her unsheathed claw, strong enough to make a newly appointed apprentice to go flying a few tail-lengths away. "I know how you feel, twerp," she spat as the apprentice attempted to claw Stormpaw's ears. Stormpaw was amused by this apprentice's attempt to hurt her. "Soaringpaw almost died in that fire to! He got crushed by a burning branch, mouse-brain! He has to recover in the medicine cat's den for a few moons! He can't do this training today and can only watch! Your mate seems to be in much better condition then my uncle! And don't you dare call me one of those fish-faced fools! Soaringpaw's brother was killed by them, If you think I'm a murderer, then you'd better see the medicine cat to get checked for going mad!"

Soaringpaw held back from jumping onto Sunpaw as he attacked Stormpaw. "Stop this, guys! Do you want to get into trouble? The deputy is right there, watching you!" After Sunpaw said his words to Soaringpaw, the tom lashed out on him. "You shut up, creep! Stormpaw is my niece! I'm disgusted by you! I'm mates with Co..." He shut his mouth as he started to say Coalpaw. He shot Sunpaw a mean glare before walking away with Stormpaw...again.

OOC: How about we wait for everyone else?

Relief washed over Sunpaw, and warmth spread through his body as she licked him. He nuzzled her cheek, and purred, "Thank you, Cloverpaw. I don't know why I thought you would blame me." Then he growled teasingly, "Of course, you would always stay loyal to your beloved king, me!" He puffed out his chest importantly, and lifted his chin. Sunpaw dared to give Cloverpaw a side-long glance. He tried not to, but he burst out laughing.

But then Stormpaw leaped at him. Sunpaw staggered slightly, but didn't lose his balance. Rage engulfed him, and the teasing atmosphere around him and Cloverpaw disappeared. He snarled as Stormpaw suggested him a newly appointed apprentice. He'd been an apprentice for almost a moon! "You call me young, inexperienced, and weak, but you're no better. I've already mastered the Lightening Strike, for StarClan's sake!" he snarled, exasperated at how aggressive this apprentice was acting. "Along with the Front Paw Blow, Leap-and-Hold, Tail-Yank, and Belly Rake! You probably wouldn't call me inexperienced if I used those moves against you. Just because you know more moves than me doesn't mean that I could be better at those moves than you."

Sunpaw looked at Soaringpaw, and nodded curtly. "I agree with Soaringpaw," he announced. "Stormpaw, you're being way too aggressive, and I'm retorting way too much. Case closed. But don't you ever insult me or Cloverpaw again!" he hissed threateningly. He butted Stormpaw's shoulder as hard as he could. (OOC: And you can't say that Stormpaw didn't stagger in the slightest bit, because that's just unfair) Then he sat down again next to Cloverpaw, refusing to look at Soaringpaw or Stormpaw, afraid that he'd lose his temper again.

OOC: Yeah, okay. Don't post until someone else does, not including Cloverpool.

"Sunpaw!! Don't hurt her!! Let it go she younger and obviously doesn't know better please stop!!" Cloverpaw begged. She didn't want this to escalate even further. Why isn't Duskfall doing anything to stop them!?!?! She thought.

Flashpaw limped up and nodded to Duskfall Her Grampa (?). Just hearing the end of the conversation. "What's going on sis?" She meowed to her sister Stormpaw

Sunpaw stepped back, and let his fur lie flat. He had to stop himself from glaring at Stormpaw. Instead he just looked at his paws, and refused to look at Cloverpaw unless her eyes were blazing with anger and dislike.

He snuck a peek up at Duskfall, to see his grandfather's expression. The deputy must be ashamed of his apprentices. Guilt and remorse threatened to sweep Sunpaw up into a huge wave, throwing him back and forth.

Sunpaw sighed. What had gotten into him? Stormpaw! a tiny voice said in the back of his head. No! It was my fault that I lost my temper. Stormpaw provoked me, but I'm the one that lost my temper! I shouldn't let Stormpaw get to me. He sighed again. He absolutely could not believe what he had done, no matter how angry he was at Stormpaw. But he also couldn't believe Stormpaw had indicated that he was being inappropriate with Cloverpaw. Did Cloverpaw think that too? Did she agree with Stormpaw, but was afraid to stand up for him because she didn't want to hurt Sunpaw's feelings?

He shook his head to clear it of his thoughts. There was no use thinking like that. The past was in the past, and Sunpaw's argument with Stormpaw and Soaringpaw was gone.

Cloverpaw flicked Sunpaw with her tail to let him know she still cares and doesn't blame him for anything.

Flashpaw studied her sister. She limped over and sat next to Stormpaw careful not to provoke her and careful not to put a lot of weight on her leg. She gave her sister a reasuring lick on the ears.

Sunpaw looked up at Cloverpaw, but no purr burst in his throat. He looked at her, full of sorrow, and then looked into space, remembering when they were kits and Cloverpaw and he were just friends. They had been so young and care-free, and now troubles clouded their - at least his - days. It was so hard just to love Cloverpaw, without having to worry about troubles in the future. What if their kits were blind? What if Cloverpaw or he died before they had kits? What if Cloverpaw stopped loving him someday, or vise versa? He couldn't believe he was thinking this, but he was. What if it would be better for him and Cloverpaw to stop loving each other? He tried to tell himself no, but the question clouded his mind until he had to shake his head vigorously to clear it. He would talk to Cloverpaw later.

To say he was unimpressed would have been an overstatement. Duskfall watched the events unfold with narrowed eyes, noting that his granddaughter, Stormpaw had been quite snappish of late. But then his grandson, Sunpaw wasn't doing so well either in keeping his temper. It seemed everyone was quite tense from these recent moons' events, so he let them blow off some steam. After all, it was better they let it out now, that later in camp.

However he didn't wake up at the crack of dawn to watch apprentices bicker like hens over a piece of corn. With a heavy sigh, he meowed dryly. "I thought I came here to teach apprentices, not mother kits. Thank Starclan no Riverclan cats saw you lot like this, or they'd invade us without a fear in the world. Why, they wouldn't even have to lift a paw since the seven of you seem so keen to tear at each other over minuscule slights."

Frostpaw sat daintly with her tail curled over her paws, and looking over quite snootily like she was above this sort of conflict. But really, it was her grandfather's sharp glance that had stopped her from joining in on fight.

Sunpaw nodded, full of shame, and glanced up at Duskfall. He mewed, "I'm sorry, Duskfall. I really am. I won't do it again." He sighed, and looked back down at his paws.

"Now that's settled, onto the battle training. Treepaw, pair up with Frostpaw. Sunpaw, with Flashpaw. Now!" The deputy commanded, having filled his patience quota while dealing with their bickering. He, on the other hand, stepped back and chose to demonstrate his moves on the nearby rock. "Firstly, I want you to do a front paw blow. Claws sheathed since this is training, you don't want to wake up Nightfire to deal with minor scratches. Trust me."

Duskfall used Front Paw Blow.
