Training topic for Cobaltfire and Icepaw [Closed]

Cobaltfire rose to her paws and padded into the clearing before stretching the sleep out of her limbs. Once finished, she made her way over to the apprentice's den and stuck her head inside.
"Icepaw, are you ready to train?" she called out.

OOC-is is closed for everyone or can I still join. Sorry I didn't get back to u sooner...

IC- At the sound of his mentors voice Icepaw perked up from his rest. This was a great day to train and he was more ready than ever to show Colbaltfire what he had been practicing.

OOC: It's closed to everyone else but Cobaltfire and Icepaw. And it's fine!

IC: Cobaltfire chuckled at his enthusiasm. "If you need to eat before we leave, feel free to." she told him, backing up to let him out of the den.

"Um, okay. I don't want to waste to much time eating though" he replied as he dashed over to the fresh kill pile, took a scrawny mouse, and ate it as fast as he could.

"That's understandable." Cobaltfire chuckled before picking a piece of prey and quickly eating it.
Once finished, she sat up and swiped her tongue around her maw to clean off any flavor. She then rose to her paws and led the way out towards the training area once she was sure Icepaw was finished eating.

Icepaw followed his mentor eagerly wondering were they would hunt or patrol first. "Hey! Could we go to the gorge?" All the other apprentices have seen it, you think we could take a look and then patrol the border?" He asked with excitment. Icepaw always wondered why every cat thought it was so scary. I bet I won't be scared of a river! He said to him self and standing up tall.

"Sure thing." Cobaltfire answered, altering her course to towards the gorge and the RiverClan border.
As they approached, she said,
"Be careful up here, the gorge is really close. The gorge is a long drop off, and you don't want to fall into the river below." she warned, as they neared the edge. Her tone grew more serious as she added, "Many cats have died by falling in, both by accident and by will."
She didn't want to scare him, but it needed to be explained that the gorge was a dangerous place, even for warriors.

"Wow!" Icepaw exclaimed peering into the roaring river below. "This is really cool! Thank you for taking me here" he said in a excited tone to his mentor. "Lets see if we can spot any fish-breath River Clan cats." He said gritting his teath and swaying his tail around.

"No problem." Cobaltfire chuckled for a few seconds, it faltering a bit at Icepaw's tone. Nonetheless, she continued on along the river, towards the RiverClan border.

After a few fox lengths of not seeing any other clan cats Icepaw wondered if they would run into any at all. "Maybe we will have better luck hunting?" He asked, scanning the empty moore.

Cobaltfire followed his gaze across the moor. "Hmm. I'm surprised you're not asking me for battle training." she chuckled.

"Oh!!! For some reason it slipped my mind. Sorry" Icepaw said looking at the ground. He could not believe even he forgot battle training. "I guess I was to focused on sight seeing. We should probaly do battle training." He said in a shameful voice.

"Nah, no need to apologize. I was just curious as to why you weren't raring to go training! You're an eager apprentice." Cobaltfire chuckled and began making way towards the training area.

"Well, I guess I am better at hunting, not so much battling." He replied. Icepaw didn't want to admit he was a weak fighter but Colbaltfire was sort of a mother figure to him and so he felt safe talking to her.

OOC: Okay, so the Rank System and the Battle System go hand-in-hand. Your rank determines how much HP and SP you have, and how much damage you do with each move.

Each move does a set amount of damage based on your rank. Cobaltfire is an Experienced Warrior, and Icepaw is an Apprentice, so Front Paw Blow's damage dealt would be 12 damage for Icepaw, and 19 damage for Cobaltfire. However, the SP cost is the same, being a cost of 5 SP for both.

The format for a move/attack is typically seen as this:

Cobaltfire used Front Paw Blow, dealing 19 damage, and costing 5 SP.
