Robinkit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath Highrock for a clan meeting!" Duskfall called the clan together one more to hold the ceremony of one of Spottedstar's litter. Young Robinkit was of age, and would become an apprentice today. It brought the warrior great joy to see so many kits becoming apprentices, they would be needed particularly since there was great tension with Riverclan. He only hoped none of them would lose their lives in this conflict.

The she-kit hurried into the clearing and sat in the middle, close by Highrock. She was ready, after waiting what felt like ages, to finally train! She'd be an amazing warrior, or maybe be the leader like her own mother. Robinkit looked up at Duskfall, her collected gaze glinting with expectation at Duskfall.

Looking down from High Rock, he could see just how eager the little calico kit was and it warmed his heart. So young, and she was itching to learning, it was the little things like this that kept him going through Redpaw's murder. There was still much happiness and joy in Thunderclan to be found.

"Robinkit, please step forward."

Blazingheart gathered below the greatrock to watch his leader's kit become an apprentice.

Frozenflame and Soaringpaw came there too. Derp.

The kit stood up, feeling taller than ever before, and took a step forward. She had dreamed of this moment almost as much as she dreamed of becoming a warrior, but that would come later. Robinkit could barely stand still, and she wondered who would be set as her mentor.

"Robinkit" Duskfall spoke from on top of High Rock, looking at the kit practically shaking with excitement. "You have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Robinpaw. Your mentor will be me. I hope to pass down all that I know on to you."

With that he leaped off the rock to touch noses with his new apprentice, Robinpaw.

Robinpaw's nose met her mentor's and she smiled enthusiastically. "I'll work really hard, I promise!"

"I have no doubt you will, Robinpaw." Duskfall purred encouragingly, he too was eager to be a mentor once more. There was little more rewarding than teaching the next generation of warriors.
