DIE THUNDERCLAN [open]

It was just another night out as Fennelcloud patrolled the borders as usual. Now that she was out of the nursery, she was gladly going on all of the patrols she could to make up for time that she was stuck int he den. It was refreshing and it made her very happy to finally be out of the hole. As she got closer to the border they share with Thunderclan, though, she saw a few figures in the distance moving in and out of the brush on the other side. What were they doing so close to the border? Rushing up to the hard black ground, she stopped suddenly as a few monsters rushed by. "What are you doing so close to the border?" she called out with a hiss.

Honeypaw had been out patrolling the borders that night as well, tagging along and staying close to Fennelcloud's side. Even if she wasn't her mentor, the young she-cat couldn't help but still admire the warrior a lot. After all, she was smart, pretty, and a great fighter! Who couldn't admire that? She didn't seem anywhere near as edge as the tabby though. While Fennelcloud kept her ears peeled for enemy warriors, she had just been lost in her own thoughts. It came as a pretty big surprise then when she stopped suddenly, peering across the Thunderpath.

The apprentice quickly followed, peering across for any dark shapes in the trees beyond.
