Heartsick [Death Topic]

~ After losing his mate, Feverflame was a broken, hopeless mess of fur and bones. He wouldn't eat, he would only bathe once in a while, and above all, he was sure he was scaring the poor kits. That was purely why the tom would only sit in his nest and take short walks out of camp by himself. ~

When the tom came back from one of his walks, something within him died. He snapped his eyes shut, sank down into his nest, and buried his muzzle into his fur. The tom took a deep breath and pressed his muzzle deeper into the nest, cutting off his air supply. Feverflame stayed like this for a while, but then everything gave way to a dizzying darkness.
