Sunkit's fun day

Sunkit groaned. "Yeah, sure is."

OOC: I'm going to PM Big Brochu to remind him of this topic.

OOC:ok

OOC: Okay, I've PMed him, and Frostkit's not coming, so we'll go without him.

IC: "Guys, we've been waiting for an hour, let's go now." Sunkit stood up and started walking to the camp entrance. But then he stopped. "Wait. No one is supposed to see us. We have to sneak out of the camp." Excitement made his fur bristle. I'm so excited, he thought. It'll be so exciting to sneak out - especially if no one spots us!

Looking over his shoulder to make sure Cloverkit and his siblings were following, he crouched down, and tiptoed behind the nursery. Then he slunk into the brambles that surrounded the camp, and crept along until he reached a little hole in the bottom of the brambles. He squeezed through it to the other side.

Sunkit looked behind him. He whispered, "We're here. We're outside the camp." Excitement caused his voice to have a hint of a squeak in it. "We're out of the camp for the first time! Yay!!!!" He spun around and started leaping around.

He saw more grass, and tall grass that was taller than him (OOC: ferns), and some tall, brown things with fat grass things attatched to the top of it. He thought Mother had described the brown things as trees, and he fat grass as leaves. He saw some other things that he couldn't identify, and he was thoroughly mystified by them.

Finally, Sunkit paused to rest. Cloverkit and his siblings weren't far behind.

"This is amazing!" Shinekit smiled as she ran through the hole. Her yellow and ginger pelt blew in the wind. She breathed in the fresh air. "Look at all the flying thingys!(bugs)" She thought with a smile.

Sunkit licked his sister's shoulder as she settled down beside him. "This is so exciting!" he squeaked. "When we're apprentices," he announced proudly, "we'll know every mouse-length of the territory! And we're getting our training in early! We should do this all the time, and watch all the apprentices and their mentors in the Sandy Hollow, and practice all the skills on our own! We can follow patrols and learn all the landmarks! Then, when we're apprentices, we'll know more than any Clan cat ever has at the beginning of their apprenticeship!"

He bounced excitedly. He looked at Cloverkit and his siblings and grinned. "What do you think?" he prompted them. "I promise we'll never get caught - not with me with you!" he boasted/added (OOC: LOL)

"All hail Sunkit!" Shinekit flicked her tail and smiled.

She leaped out behind him. "Wow the tree are so big. Ooo ferns!but where's the bracken?" She sniffed the air and scented a mouse.she crouched and edged forward to pounce on the mouse.she leaped landing on its back and killed it with a swift blow. "Hey I caught one!!!"

"Hey, I want to catch one!"

And Sunkit did. He caught a small mouse.

"Want to share?" he asked.

"Scoot over!" Shinekot pushed her siblings out of the way and ate the mouse whole. Being the oldest and strongest sibling paid off.

She lifted her nose into the air."um guys do you smell that?" Her eyes widened. It's another cat!! Quick back into the brambles and hide the mice!!" She squeaked afraid of getting caught.

She quickly dragged the mouse into the brambles and leapt back Sunkit Shinekit Frostkit Come on!!!

Goldenkit ran out of the bramble, only to see their Mother out looking for them. "Uh oh." Goldenkit mewled as her Mother picked Goldenkit up by her golden scruff.
