I wanted to share some writing I've done, but I wasn't sure where to share it. I wrote a poem to start this off. I hope you enjoy!

you came in, a summer day
warmth and light
golden smiles, sweet words
a brilliant distraction
to a lonely girl

beautiful songs,
sunny days,
cruising freely
falling in love
every cliché in the book

the late nights,
the stargazing,
midnight television
proximity, hunger
never close enough

brushing fingers
light kisses
pressed together
love, love, love
you always said

then you were gone
trees turned orange
my heart grew cold
but still
i remembered you

the sun was dimmer
the house no longer warm
i missed your presence
and would touch my skin
to remind it of you

but you never thought of me
how could you
when you were in the sky
so far, so distant
god of the sun

You have great writing skills, Rainy! Whenever I try to write a poem, I have to sit and think for about twenty minutes for each verse/stanza :)

I know! Great job, Rainy. I could never do that many stanzas. Usually I only do two verses!
