Adding a stone

"Okay.. this goes here... this goes there..." Muttered a rather small and slim she-cat and she padded from one side of camp to the other, returning to the same spot every time with a new stone in her jaws. Setting them on a tiny little stream at the very edge of camp, nodding with satisfaction as the little trickle of water started pooling ever so slowly, looking around a bit she pushed whatever dirt she could to clog up the little gaps between the stones.


Nodding again in approval the little she-cat looked it over once more before digging her claws into the soil before the stone barricade and dug whatever dirt she could pull out, slowly making a dip in the ground for water to form a little pool. The light grey kit didn't stop until she noticed a shadow looming over her, turning her head to the cat behind her she mewed. "Uh yes?"

It was funny how a little kit named stonekit was arranging stones herself. Orcapaw tried to hold back a laughter as she approached the small grey she-kit. Stonekit had been born only a few moons ago - the newest addition to skyclan, while Orcapaw herself had only been made an apprentice just a few dawns ago. Stonekit seemed rather content collecting and organizing with her stones or something but it was quite obvious to orcapaw that stonekit was lonely and bored. She had been only watching the kit for a bit before she totally got confused trying to figure out what she was creating. "Hi Stonekit! What is it your making with stones!" Orcapaw had squeaked happily her bright green eyes friendly and full of curiosity.

"Oh. I'm making a biiiiig puddle! Like it's going to be so big that we'll all be fishes!" She squeaked, bringing her paw up to rub at a muddy spot on her cheek, only smudging more and making more of a mess on her paws and face. Gleaming a bit she adjusted the stones in a more sturdy pile, heaving more mud onto the pile of stones to make it bigger, huffing she looked at Orcapaw, then to where she was getting the stones then back again. Turning to where she was getting the stones and trotting over and snatching a stone and trotting back the grey she-cat dropped it on the pile with a nod.

The idea seemed smart but Orcapaw wasn't quite sure if it work herself - most of skyclan didn't even eat fish. The black fluffy kit huffed in amusement her bright green orbs blinking "I don't wanna become a fish though!" The apprentice squeaked narrowing her eyes "How are you gonna make everyone fish anyway?? Orcapaw asked tilting her head. If she could do that - that would be magic! Skyclan will be the only clan with magic in the clan. "You have some mud on your face Stonekit!" Orcapaw told the apprentice, grinning.

"Oh... Well, too bad ha ha ha!" She stiffly laughed, trying to act as some kind of evil antagonist. Fluffing out her fur she raised her tail and unsheathed her claws, exposing her teeth the she-cat paused her 'evil' actions to think. "I'll shove them into Riv-Rav-Rieiaav- RIVERCLAN, Riverclan camp! And then they can teach them how to be fishes!" She squealed, jumping around a little before frowning at the older cats remark. "Oh yeah?! Not anymore!" She screeched before launching herself at the black and white apprentice, flailing her muddied paws at the fluffy she-cat.

One thing Orcapaw hated was getting dirty - she quickly backed away from the apprentice as she spreaded more and more mud entirely over her face. "Oh no! I don't wanna go to the smelly cats home!!!!!!!" the fluffy kit mewed dramatically tumbling and groaning as she twisted and turned on the earth. The apprentice squeaked in surprisement when Stonekit leaped on-top of her, " Nooooo I hate getting dirtyyyy stopppp ittt!" Orcapaw wailed playfully trying to shake of the small dark grey kit.

Stonekit was squealing with excitement until she was told to stop, the grin she had worn just seconds ago vanished as she felt her tail flop down and disturb some dust. Awkwardly leaping down from the apprentice she timidly sat down, her ears pressed against her head. "Oh.. okay." She muttered. Looking at her paws and shuffling them a bit as she stared, "Sorry" She muttered again, narrowing her eyes against the sun.

The apprentices ears perked when Stonekit was squealing happiy - Orcapaw loved it when those around her were happy. It made her happy in return, the fluffy she-kit grinned brightly bounding up and down with the small she-kit. She didn't feel this happy for awhile - ever since her training started it's been difficult to hang out with her siblings or her other friends. Orcapaw slightly tilted her head when the she-kit stopped acting all cheerful. The fluffy she-kit slightly tilted her head wondering what happened - maybe she misunderstood her? She was just kidding about the getting dirty thing. She slightly frowned when Stonekit stared at her paws nervously shuffling them. "Hey!" the apprentice squeaked - her grin seeming to get brighter by the second. "I'm gonna get youuuuu!" She declared leaping onto the small kit gently nibbling on her ears.

Stonekits head snapped up when the apprentice got her attention again, seeing as she wasn't going to be scolded she had cheered up considerably. Squealing in surprise as she fell back she little kitten tried pulling away from the she-cat to prevent her ears from getting nibbled off, "H-Hey yo-you're going to nibble my ears off!" She stuttered, trying to speak but her laughter wasn't helping any. "I'm going to bring you down! No one wins against Stonestar! Leader of Skyclan!" She squealed, smacking her paws wildly at the she-cats face.

"Thats the entire point Stonekit!" Orcapaw had difficulty saying the words because she was still nibbling on the dark grey she-kits ears - not showing a sign of releasing her. Her ears twitching as the grey she-kit laughed uncontrollably, the fluffy she-kit gently smiled her eyes turning humble she seemed to be having the time of her life - which was great! She was also having tons of fun playing with stonekit. When stonekits paw first hit Orcapaws face she grunted surprised, she squealed again when she felt another smack against her face. Her whiskers twitching as she tried to avoid Stonekits smacks - after at least 10 smacks she quickly lept off - grinning wildly. "Who says your the leader!" Orcapaw said from pure shock her eyes narrowing. Before she fixed her posture trying to act like a snobby leader. "I Orcastar will lead Skyclan to victory!" The fluffy she-kit sneered towards Stonekit her tail twitching.

Huffing in response the little she-kit, after beating the dirt out of Orcapaw like tossing moss around to shake out dirt and water the she-kit gave an excited squeal. "I do! And I think not Orcastar! For I am Skyclans proper leader! You are nothing but a mouse!" She playfully insulted, puffing out her chest in defiance as she squared up her shoulders and bushed out her tail in a proud manner.

Her whiskers twitched as she watched Stonekit - her ears perked her eyes narrowing. "
Well if im a mouse then.." The fluffy she-cat paused trying to think of a good come-back, her head quickly snapped back up - finishing her statement. "Well if Im a mouse then your a dirty rat!" She squeaked - grinning. Nothing was worse then being a rat - the most hated prey in the entire forest!

Stonekit looked rather upset when she was trumped, her eyes opened wide with shock and her mouth fell agape. 'Nuh-uh! That's not faiiirr! You're not allowed to beat me! It's against the rules!" She complained, fluffing out whatever fur she could in defiance. "New rule, you are not allowed to beat me! And you're to never ever win because you're the bad guy and you're evil! Got it?" She huffed, lashing her tail as she put the 'rules' in place.

Orcapaw looked rather confused, what rules? She wasn't aware of any rules of some sort. She was just coming up with a clever come-back. Although it was amusing on how easily a little kit can get angry, was she like that when she was a kit to? "I can beat you easilyyyy!" the fluffy apprentice squeaked a confident look shining in her green eyes.

"Nuh-uhhhhh! You're not allowed, it's part of the rules now!" She argued, picking up a paw and slapping it on the ground, her hackles raising as she tried to make herself look scary and intimidating.
