Found in the Night [For Sebastizard]

Wailingstream returned to camp from a hunt, carrying with him three fish he'd caught from the river. He worked doubly hard to feed the clan after he'd brought in little Nightkit. He was a kit Wailingstream had found near the twolegplace while he'd been chasing a rogue scent. The kit was most likely a rogue, but as it was so small and vulnerable, he couldn't bring himself to abandon it. Instead he brought it with him to camp, adopting it as his own, he'd gotten one of the queens to feed the poor thing.

There had been a recent influx in kits, and he knew that that meant there were a lot of mouths to feed, but the warrior code was clear. All kits deserved protection regardless of clan or no clan. Thus he took it upon himself to work twice as hard hunting, and look after the small kit.

Place today's catch on the freshkill pile, he walked towards the nursery to call out to his adopted son.

"Nightkit? Are you there?"

Nightkit has heard Wailingstream's call. Even though he hasn't fully trusted Wailingstream and accept him as a father, he knew he would be safe within the nursery of riverclan. Nightkit had no memory of his actual family but he thought that if his family had abandoned him as a kit, than he was better off with Wailingstream.

Nightkit saw Wailingstream calling for him at the entrance of the nursery. He ran to his adopted father, seeing fish in his mouth. Nightkit had been hungry the whole day, so he was excited to see fish.

"Yes Dad, i'm here". answered Nightkit. Nightkit knew that Wailingstream was a cat he could trust so he tried to be as polite as he possibly can. Nightkit had other ideas he had to think about though. Like finding his parents....... and killing them.

"You don't have to call me dad if you don't want to. I'm fine with being called Wailingstream." He said, dropping a fish on the ground for the kit to eat while he took the rest to the freshkill pile. With a few easy leaps, he came back to the silver kit, settling down to watch him eat and share tongues.

"What have you been up to today?"

"Oh, nothing unlike the usual." 'Wailingstream'. Nightkit meowed while stuffing his face in the fish Wailingstream caught. Nightkit thought that if he asked Wailingstream about his parents, he could learn something.

"Daddy..I mean Wailingstream. When you found me, did you see any other cats that might look like me around." asked Nightkit.
