The Stinky Battle

Faith lead her kit around to an okay hunting spot. She was going to teach him how to hunt, or at least try too. She made sure to stay at a slow pace so the Moon could catch up. Once she got to it, there was barely any Twoleg dens around and there was a lot of bushes. "Okay, Moon, what do you smell?" She asked, almost like a warrior training her apprentice. Suddenly, there was a horrible smell and a rustling coming from the bushes.

" Uh.. I smell something bad..." he said shaking his head trying to get rid of the smell. " What is that??" he mewed

Faith looked over at the bushes, "It's coming from over there." She said. Suddenly, a small black animal with one white stripe down its back came out. "It's a skunk!" She said.

Moon glanced at Faith wondering whether we should attach. He sheathed his claws ready to hunt. The skunk looked at them nervously.

She glanced over at Moon, realizing he wanted to hunt it. She grinned, "You ready?"

He nodded, grinning. He ran at full speed toward the skunk and clawed it's face. Then, jumped back not wanting to get sprayed at but the skunk sprayed anyways. He jumped back again.

She leapt at the skunk in an attempt to pin it, but it tried spraying again. It got her before she could get out of the way. "Yuck!" Yelped Faith

" You okay, Faith?" he questioned. Then, tackled the skunk being quick on his paws. And tripped falling to the ground, being sprayed...

She helped Moon up before leaping at the skunk, slamming her forepaws into its skull. It stumbled back but the hit didn't kill it, and it sprayed at them once again

He helped trying to end the skunk too by pinning it down, sinking his tiny teeth into his neck. It was close to being done for but not yet. Being sprayed again he stumbled back.

Faith leapt at the skunk, and slashed its neck, finally ending it, but she didn't get away from being sprayed one last time. "Finally!" She said, even though Moon and her had a horrible stench that could be smelled from miles away. She picked up the skunk and said through it's fur, "Come on, let's go home." She walked slowly back to the den like hole they lived in

" Wait 'till Strike smells us..." he mewed. We padded back to the two legged farm and Moon trotted over to Strike.

Strike came back from hunting. He had come back with a rabbit and bird. Mufasa had given him a day off. "Eww! What's that stench?" He yowled. He widened his eyes. "Faith? Moon? What happened to you two?"

Faith dropped the skunk, "I took Moon out hunting, and we found the skunk. We decided to kill it and it was kind of fun." She grinned a little, "Want some?" She nudged it towards him

Moon nodded and mewed " that skunk was no match for us!" " I'm sure the skunk would be better if you ate some!" he said.
