Tornkit silently escaped from camp, and ran as fast as she could until she thought they were far enough that they wouldn't be caught for a while "Come on, Brightkit! We're out!" I said and grinned. We could do anything we want, until a patrol came out of camp.

Brightkit scampered out after her. She glanced back at camp woth blue eyes"im coming on coming"She mewed smiling happily. The white and ginger kit caught up with her sibling.

"And that's as close as you'll get to the River for moons if you don't march back to camp right now." Wailingstream spoke sharply from behind the kits in the reeds. He'd been hunting a water vole when it had swam off when it scent the kits upstream. He wasn't exactly pleased at this development, but kits would be kits, and he had distinct memories of being a troublemaker himself.

Tornkit yelped and leapt back at the voice, then looked up at Wailingstream. "Why can't we go to the River?" She complained.

"There are rogues about. Also those mouse-brained Thunderclan cats are a worry. Since a she-cat of theirs drown, they're out for blood." Wailingstream spoke solemnly as he ushered the kits into the hidden safety of the reeds. The scent of rogues was nagging at him, and he wanted the kits to be as safe as possible. "Now to camp, before something decides you'd be a nice snack."
