Cuteness is Right! [open uwu]

Honeykit shifted around in her nest. She'd been told to sleep, but she simply couldn't. She was restless! How could she even take the smallest nap when there was so much to do? There were hardly any other kits to play with and the queens were grumpy! The only fun one was Mistflower, and she had no idea where she went! With a small hmph, the kitten pulled herself up, glancing around for any signs of someone watching her and glancing out the entrance. She hadn't been allowed outside yet, because the queens said it was too cold outside, but she'd be okay, cats always said she was a brave and strong kitty! She was ShadowClan! A little cold couldn't phase her!

Looking around over her shoulder once more, she made a quick dash for the exit. It had taken her a few seconds of sniffing about curiously before she actually stepped outside, but when she did, she was blown away.

"Wooaahhh..." The camp was huuuge, and there were so many cats! What was with this white stuff that was falling down? The she-cat stared upward at the softly falling flakes. One landed on her nose, then it turned to water? She sneezed, shaking a little. "It is cold." She mewled, shaking her pelt and continuing to look around with stubborn facination.

Scarletpaw watched a new kit exit the nursery. She watched with kind interest, sitting a little ways off in a spot cleared of snow.

Luckily, or maybe unluckily for her, the small kit had spotted Scarletpaw a little ways away. "Hiya!" She bounded over with a gentle purr, "What's your name?"

"I'm Scarletpaw! What's your name?" She cleared a little bit of snow from the ground beside her, in case the little kit wanted to sit down.

A large tomcat lumbered into the camp, two frogs tucked in his jaws. His paws crunched in the cold snow, and he tossed the frogs aside. He spat into the snow, trying to get the moist taste of frozen frog from his mouth. He never really liked frogs, but...

Blizzardsky glanced up to see Scarletpaw conversing with a young, unfamiliar kit, but somehow she seemed familiar. He ambled toward the two, examining the kit. "Who's this?" he asked, staring down at Honeykit. "I haven't seen her around." Then again, Blizzardsky had no reason to be snooping in the nursery. It was only normal that a warrior hadn't seen kits that had been sheltered in the nursery for a moon or so. However, it was late leaf-bare, and he wondered how a small kitten could withstand cold when he could hardly do it himself...

Scarletpaw? The she-kit tilted her head in mild confusion. She looked like an apprentice, but she also really didn't look that, well... red. She looked more orange, like the sunset. Why didn't they name her OrangeSunsetpaw instead? That seemed so much more fitting. Oh, well. "I'm - oh - !" Her head turned around quickly as she noticed another cat approached. This one was the biggest cat she'd seen yet, she thought. "I'm Honeykit!" She squeaked, smiling sweetly before getting a wiff of the scent of frog on his pelt. She wrinkled her nose and took a few steps back, muttering to Scarletpaw. "He smells kinda funny..."

Blizzardsky eyed the kit curiously. He didn't know any ginger-and-white she-cats... Except for his sister. Maybe she's Fennelcloud's... he mused, eyes beginning to light up. Was he an uncle? His demeanor changed, his tail swishing like a snake in the sand. Oh! An uncle! He would have to congratulate her and Jayclaw. I would've never guessed! Her belly hasn't ever been plump- Blizzardsky stood, white paws sinking in the snow, whiskers drooping at the realization. He wasn't an uncle after all... how could he be so naive? Fennelcloud hadn't shown any signs of expecting kits... no sickness, no overly-cheerful attitude... nothing.

Staring at the not-his-niece kit, his brown eyes became blank. They didn't lighten at the kit's comment, which was easily heard by the tom. He flicked an ear. "I'm Blizzardsky," he meowed lowly, eyes trailing away in thought.
