Scarletkit's intro

Scarletkit yawned, blinking. She stretched the sleep from her limbs as she woke up. After doing so, she looked around at the empty nursery. She didn't see any other kits nearby, perhaps they were outside? Stumbling towards the entrance, the sunlight almost blinded her as she approached. As her eyes adjusted, she looked outside, seeing many cats. She carefully took a step outside, and then another, until she was completely outside of the nursery.

Mousekit sat in a shady spot as he watched a new kit pad out of the nursery. The tom sneered a little at the she-cat's redish fur. Ha! Who let a fox in, Mousekit thought to himself as he studied the kit's pelt. He wanted to pad over and laugh at her about it, but he decided not to, not wanting to leave his spot. He moved forward a little bit so that he was more visible to Scarletkit.

Scarletkit looked around nervously as she padded further into the clearing.
There are so many cats...
Another kit caught her eye, and she cautiously made her way towards him, even though her instinct warned her not to.
