Just Introducing Volekit

An almost inaudible yawn filled the nursery as Volekit opened his jaws. A small purr also found it's way into the mixture. Volekit had fallen asleep the night before because of pure exhaustion, which made waking up a little later in the day feel so good!

Still laying down in a jumble of soft and comfy leaves that made up his nest, he out stretched his paws. Another yawn escaped his jaws as he decided to lay there for a few minutes.

A few soft breaths later and the kit finally decided he was getting bored and needed to stand up and do something. Once on his paws, he let out a final stretch before blinking his bright eyes that started to observe the nursery. The sun peering in through the entrance caught his attention rather quickly as his mood seemingly brightened at the idea of going outside. The small fluff ball let out a tiny mewl in sudden energy as Volekit darted for the outside, completely ready to do anything that involved being out of the nursery.

A large tom, Blizzardsky, passed through the camp, eyes shining in the sunlight. The black and white warrior gave a long sigh of contentment, sending smoky clouds billowing out of his jaws. His paws sank into the snow easily as he walked, and he felt a small bump! on his leg. Peering down, he saw a bundle of brown fur, and he moved away. He hesitated before he spoke to the unfamiliar face. Perhaps one of the queens delivered, and he hadn't heard about it yet? "Er... Do you need something?" he asked ungracefully, blinking at him. He was never good at talking to kits, not to mention kits that were strangers.

"Woah!" Volekit spoke as he backed up from the larger cat. His eyes were filled with curiosity as he examined the tom that stood in front of him.

The tiny kit barely took notice to the question that the black and white stranger asked him and instead, blurted out his own.

"Are you a warrior? You look like one! It must be really fun to be a warrior. You get to fight, hunt, and do all sorts of things. Oh! I bet yo-" The kitten rambled on and on, his voice getting louder with bundled excitement. The tiny tom was practically hopping up and down in the cold snow that blanketed the ground beneath them.

Blizzardsky blinked at the kit's awestruck expression. He wondered why the kit was so marveled at him. As the kit spoke feverishly, the tom felt overwhelmed by the number of questions and statements all jumbled into one kitten. In response, he nodded continuously, clearly bewildered. "Er- Yes, yes, I am a warrior. Yeah, I do that. And that. Yes, yes, I know. Of course..." He continued to drone on along with the kit. They were obviously getting nowhere. Blizzardsky decided to veer the topic in a different direction. "Shouldn't you be with your mother?" he asked, interrupting any more of the barrage of questions the kit may have had.
