The Monarch meets the Sun again

(This takes place after the badger attack)
Sunpaw ran past the raging badgers, glad he escaped. Cloudpatches could help now. He had lost his left eye and had several scratches. With a sigh, he plopped down on a rock, and closed his eyes. Suddenly, he caught a whiff of a familiar scent. "Monarchpaw?" He asked.

Monarchpaw had followed after Sunpaw. She had somewhat avoided the fight unintentonally but had a few scratches. She had stayed quiet for a moment but when Sunpaw said her name she padded to him"i..i'm here"She said in response as she noticed his left eyes and moved closer to him her tail sorta lowered.

Sunpaw saw Monarchpaw clearly and a tear fell from his eye. "I look like your mentor, when she was younger." He said, somewhat teasingly, but more so in a way that was solemn. "Well, I guess that's life. Until you become a warrior, and I become a medicine cat, this is how it's gonna be." With a small sigh, he lowered his head to his paws, and his belly began to rumble. Ignoring it, he looked in a muddle at his reflection. Why had the badgers attacked? Why didn't they just leave him alone? He wanted to scream his thought to Starclan, but stayed silent. Nothing goes right for me...

Monarchpaw settled down with him quietly and gently nuzzled him sadly feeling bad for him."i..its going to be ok"She mewed.

Sunpaw wiped a paw over his eye and sighed, wanting to be free from all his worries. As soon as Monarchpaw spoke, he mewed, "I hope so." Curling his tail around her, he sighed once more.

Monarchpaw let out a quiet sigh and gently nuzzled his cheek.

Sunpaw blinked, noticing a rabbit running around. "We should catch that. The clan will be weak after that battle." He got to his paws, but was unsteady and stumbled, falling back on the ground. With an grunt, he gets back up again.

"yeah your right the clan will be maybe we could try to catch what rabbits we can bring to the clan"She suggested.

Sunpaw nodded, then added again gruffly, "We should catch it quickly." He stumbled when he walked, but quickly got his footing and chased after the rabbit. He secretly loved to hunt- he just buried the prey for another cat to find. But he would tell the Clan Monarchpaw had caught it- or she would tell them- even if he helped. He unsheathed his claws and swiped the rabbit, causing it to run straight to Monarchpaw.

Monarchpaw saw the rabbit coming her way that Sunpaw caused to run her way. She waited quietly before tried to catch the rabbit claws unsheathed.

As Sunpaw watched it race to her, he wondered if she would catch it. As she caught it, he smiled. "That's great! This will surely help our Clan!"

Monarchpaw smiled"yeah it sure will"She mewed smiling her blue eyes sparkling happily.

Sunpaw nodded smiling. "Let's wait until the badger attack is over to bring it to camp?"

"yeah we should"Monarchpaw mewed before she quietly buried the rabbit for the time being and padded to Sunpaw.

Sunpaw quickly smiled again and nodded. "Lets get back to camp. I'll go help cats. I'll say you were hurt and I had to help you quick."
