Hunting with Graystorm

Swiftfoot ran over to the moor, waiting for Graystorm.
Finally! She thought. I get a break from the nursery. Yes, she did love her kits, but everybody needs a break sometimes. 
Besides, a hunting trip would ease her mind of the terrible things that still haunted her memory.
She caught scent of a rabbit, and charged after, going a little too fast, and before she knew it, was stuck in a rabbit hole. She pulled herself out, now with dirt covering her face. She laughed and shook it off. 
Turning, she realized she had gone too far from the spot where Graystorm was probably already standing. She padded over, but realized he wasn't there yet, so she plopped down and sighed happily.

Graystorm padded out of camp behind her and padded along until he fell into footstep right beside her. "Sorry if I was being slow." He said. "It feels like I haven't been out of camp in a while." He said

After hearing him she nodded. Then she chuckled, "I haven't been out of camp for fourteen moons." Swiftfoot caught scent of another rabbit, and saw it within a good distance. She lunged after it and easily killed it with her teeth, and then a shiver got sent through her spine as snow drifted onto her back. She dropped the rabbit down on the snow and looked for more.

"Fourteen?" Graystorm questioned quietly before sniffing the air for his own prey

"Yes. In one moon my kits will be apprentices. Because before they were born, I was in the nursery for nine moons, and now its been five moons since they were born." She mewed quietly before seeing another rabbit, pouncing, and killing it in a swift bite. (And thats where she got her name :P. She is swift on her feet, aka fast... Oh you get it!) She dropped it next to her other one and continued looking.

"Oh, I see." Graystorm said before glancing at the prey and said, "Good catch!"

"Thanks!" She mewed. She then noticed another rabbit and failed to catch it. With a sigh, she kept looking around.

Graystorm didnt notice because he was concentrating on catching his own prey

Swiftfoot noticed a mouse scurrying around on the floor. Ick... She thought. But we need as much prey as possible. A mouse isn't that good, but its still food. She chased after the mouse, her white paw trapping it. She used her other paw to pierce it and kill it. She threw it next to the rabbits.

Graystorm snuck up on his squirrel, and when he got close enough to it he pounced and killed it swiftly

Swiftfoot smiled at their catches. "Lets take this to the clan. We caught an awful lot." She mewed.

"Yeah, we did. I guess we should get back to camp now." Graystorm replied

Swiftfoot nodded and carried it back to camp.
