Leafpaw's Warrior Ceremony

One of the very first things that Breezestar had wanted to do as the new leader was deal out the ceremonies to those who deserved it. He considered his own ceremony one of the most important moments of his life, and wanted it to be same for all the young members of the clan.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, join here beneath the Tall-Branch for a clan meeting!"

Leafpaw looked up from her grooming as a ceremony had been called, the apprentice grunted getting herself to her paws and towards the Tall Branch where the new leader Breezestar sat on confidently. She sighed in relief and sat down her cream eyes seemed to sparked with excitment.

After a good number of the clan had gathered, he sought out a certain face in the crowd. "Leafpaw, would you come forward, please?" He meowed.

Leafpaws ears perked, she didn't actually expect this to be her warrior ceremony she felt like she hardly trained at all. With a slient nod Leafpaw slowly walked forwards, feeling a bit awkward as everyone watched her in an silence.

Breezestar seemed a bit amused as she shuffled forward shyly to the Tall-Branch. He wasn't too worried about how much training she'd had. He knew her skills were up to par with many of the warriors when they'd received their names, and simply because one's apprenticeship ended didn't mean that you automatically stopped learning. "Leafpaw, you were very brave in the last battle, even if you were hurt - you ran all the way to ShadowClan and got us the help we needed." He praised her, a smile on his face. Not just anyone could do that, many would've collapsed from the wounds or ran out of cowardice, but she did it still.

"I Breezestar, Leader of SkyClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code and now I commend her to you." He meowed. "Leafpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Leafpaw looked up as Breezestar spoke blinking when he had praised her she didn't think much off the time when Skyclan got attacked by windclan and thunderclan but it had involved all five of the clans in the forest. the apprentice quickly straightened up at once looking quite serious once Breezestar had asked.

She hardly had to think once Breezestar had asked, "I do." Leafpaw bellowed out the words looking at Breezestar as she spoke, she was glad that Breezestar was made leader even though he started as an outsider he now was a leader in the forest all the clans should fear them now.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name." Breezestar meowed, "Leafpaw, from this moment on, you will be known as Leafdapple. StarClan honors your kindness and determination, and we welcome you as a full member of SkyClan." The tom leapt off of the Tall Branch, padding over and setting his chin gently on top of her head, as it had been done to him so many moons ago.
