Lightningstrike sat down, and shifted his paws nervously. "What if she decided not to come?..! I mean, after all, I am way older than her, but that doesn't matter...does it?" he whispered, shifting once again and looking up at the full moon shining in the dark blue sky.

FeatherPaw(Pool?) Padded out onto SunningRocks. Looking around de crouched down and stalked towards LightningStrike. Leaping she tackled him and laughed. "Gotcha!" She got off him and sat down smiling.

OOC: Warrior.

IC: Lightningstrike felt his heart 'go up his throat'. He smiled weakly, and figured his heart was beating so hard that surely Featherpool could hear it. "Oh, um...hi...!" he mewed faintly. "Anyway, I wanted you here because....I had to confess my feelings...I think I l- lo-" He couldn't bring himself to say love.

FeatherPool purred as he seemed to be stammering on the word. She then said. "You loathe me?" She giggled trying to mess around with his words. Purring again she continued. "Im just messing with you. And in truth I really like you as well." She nuzzled him.

Lightningstrike opened his mouth to reply, but his reply caught in his throat and was soon replaced by a loud purr. 'I never knew it would turn out this way... I mean, a mentor-apprentice relationship?.....!' Shaking his head, he smiled but soon realized he'd voiced his thoughts.

FeatherPool smiled and said. "I bet this kind of love has happened before." She curled her tail and looked towards RiverClan territory. "I've already got in trouble coming here before. Maybe we should got into the cover of the trees."

He nodded, a small smile on his face. "Did you know Coalheart? She was in ThunderClan." he stated, curling his tail in a heart shape around hers.

FeatherPool shook her head. "Not that I think. Was she around when I was a kit?" She remembered her kit hood and when she was FeatherKit she had truly missed being a kit and playing around.

Lightningstrike facepalmed. "No...She died when I was a kit...How could I be so stupid? Sorry.." he muttered.

FeatherPool lowered her ears. "Oh. Sorry." She laid down and then continued. "So if you could be any other animal what would you be?" She just felt like asking a random question right then.

Lightningstrike wasted no time thinking. "A dog." he mewed, feeling a soft purr rising in his throat. "I know they stink, but I would not like to be a horse, sheep, or cow. Definitely not the animals we eat!" he joked.

FeatherPool thought about what she wanted to be. "I'd want to be a tiger. You know from the stories of TigerClan. That would be cool." She waved her tail and smiled. "I hope you want to be a big dog not a tiny yappy one."

Lightningstrike purred and puffed out his chest. "Obviously I'd be a big one, so I could chase skimpy little cats around the forest. Woof!" He grinned.

FeatherPool laughed and leaped up and growled. "Well is be bigger I'm a cat from TigerClan." She hissed playfully and batted at his head.

OOC: Should we drop the topic now? After all, it's just a RP topic about two cats trying to find their true love.

IC: Lightningstrike grinned happily, and shrunk backwards playfully as his mate swung a sheathed paw in his face.
