Who wants to Sunbath? [Open]

FeatherPool stretched herself out on a rock and looked towards the river she hoped she could just lie there without anyone disturbing her. As she laid there in the warming sun for what seemed like hours she decided to move around. Yes the sun did warm her but barely it was getting too cold for that kind of stuff. She sniffed around to hunt for herself. Stalking the scent of a vole she pounced and lifted her catch in her jaws. That's when she saw......

Ducksnap had been strolling around marking the borders out of pure boredom. The tom heard a rustle and perked his ears, catching a strong scent of vole. Turning his head he snarled and dropped his gaze he had lost his mate and one kit, who dare is here? Ducksnap raised his head, "Hello?" Although anger coursed through him he remained calm and sat down staring into the underbrush.

FeatherPool looked around and spotted DuckSnap. "Hello there! DuckSnap isn't it?" She padded up to him with the vole in her mouth still. Setting it down she said. "What are you doing over here? Border patrol?" She shifted her head around searching for others.

"Didn't expect to get caught, did you?" another voice sounded from behind Ducksnap. They'd been looking for a vole, but they'd found something much more interesting instead. Oakpaw stalked forward, mismatched eyes glowing with malice. He unsheathed his claws and dropped into a crouch. "Sunningrocks is RiverClan territory, or did you 'forget'?"

FeatherPool hissed at the RiverClan cat. "Like you cats need anymore land to hunt in to stuff your faces with. You all are plump already." She scoffed and put a paw over her catch. "You RiverClan cats don't need the SunningRocks now. The river will be freezing soon." Her tail swished angrily.

Ducksnap nearly leapt out in surprise then bristled and stalked forward toward the Riverclan apprentice. "You fish breathes never were supposed to own this land." He nodded towards Featherpool in agreement. He snarled and stepped at Oakpaw, "You think you can take this prey away?" His snarl was iterated and pressed with challenge.

OOC: Omg long rp is long..

IC: Lilystream decided to go hunting by the river. It felt like a nice day to hunt, but maybe too good to spend. Still, it is important for the Clan to be fed. As the she-cat strolled near the calm waters of the river, Lilystream thought that since Sunningrocks is close, maybe to spend a good day would be to hunt there. Oh, Lilystream felt grateful to have Sunningrocks as RiverClan's territory. Gracefully diving into the waters, catching fish in her sight as they swam away, it didn't take too long for Lilystream to bob back up and pushing herself onto land. Shaking the wetness from her dripping fur, the she-cat heard a commotion going on in Sunningrocks.

Curious of what might be going on, Lilystream continued to head to the Sunningrocks. As she approached, the she-cat spotted Oakpaw and two ThunderClan cats among the Sunningrocks as if they own the place, worse having one of them bathing themselves. How dare they on RiverClan territory? Hearing their insults, the she-cat unsheathed her claws, feeling offended by these ThunderClan warriors. They should know better not to put up a fight for territory they don't own. Quickly sheathing her claws, Lilystream padded next to the apprentice. She wanted to say 'good job' to this apprentice for catching the ThunderClan cats, but it didn't seem like there was time for that, or even just a bad timing. Instead, the she-cat gave a nod to Oakpaw.

"Is there any good reason to be on RiverClan territory? If not, I suggest you leave. Your insults are nothing but full of rage, and I wouldn't want a fight coming on here." Lilystream spoke calmly, wishing for the ThunderClan cats to leave. If they still refused, maybe the deputy, or even Sunstar, would have to take care of this. "RiverClan has fought well for these rocks, and it is not you who decides to just take them away from us."

FeatherPool spat and said. "Pfft like I'd waste my time with you fish faces." Grabbing her vole she stalked off. Muffling as she left she said. "Like you earned it honorably you fox hearts. Come on DuckSnap their not worth our time." As she waited for him she thought to herself. 'I should ask SpottedStar to take back SunningRocks it's not like those fish eaters need it.'

Ducksnap stared at the other warrior and held back a low snarl and the temping to leap at her. "Full of the rage we deserve, you scared?" He stared then looked at Feather pool a plead to give these cats a fight they deserved. He unsheathed and sheathed his claws and sucked in his breath slowly, almost snapping at the two then he let it out.

FeatherPool watched DuckSnap prepare himself to fight. Unsheathing her claws she stood by his side to fight alongside her clan mate if nessicary. "You RiverClan cats shouldn't pick fights you can't win. Either back off or fight." She eyed the two definitely they could win against an apprentice and a warrior. DuckSnap was fully grown and FeatherPool was almost fully grown as well.

OOC: For some reason I thought Ducksnap was in RiverClan, despite it saying right there in your sig that they're a TC warrior. Lol, I'm dumb. Things make sense now though.

IC: Oakpaw's blue eye blazed with fury, but he felt relief at the sound of a friendly voice beside him. "If you want a fight, we'll give you one," he said, swishing his tail. The arrogance of these two... Flaunting Clan borders, just because they thought they could? Sunningrocks had belonged to RiverClan since before he was born. Now it looked like they meant to fight. He wondered how Spottedstar would feel when two of her warriors crawled home, bleeding and panting, fighting for some territory they didn't even own. I'd like to see that. It was a shame Snowpaw wasn't here. Then a fight would be a little bit easier. "Or you can tuck your tail between your legs and run, if you're smart."

"What is StarClan's good name is going on here?" a cat hissed, hidden among the reeds of her territory. Fishpelt emerged from the vegetation and bounded effortlessly across the stepping stones, emerald-coloured eyes twinkling with anger. First she looked to the ThunderClan cats, then to Oakpaw and Lilystream, and back at the ThunderClan cats. "I cannot believe you have the nerve to march onto foreign territory and provoke those who own it. You're also one to talk about picking fights you can't win. Have you forgotten our last battle?" Fishpelt shot Featherpool a condescending look. The deputy's stance showed no obvious signs of aggression, but the rigidity in her back, tone of voice and flicker in her gaze suggested her animosity towards the trespassers.

"That's enough!" A voice growled from the shadows underneath long fern fronds. The plant quivered and Breezefeather leaped onto a close rock on the outskirts of Sunningrocks. "Ducksnap, Featherpool, you know well enough that Sunningrocks is RiverClan territory." The older warrior scolded, her moss green eyes narrowing. "Unless you think you two can claim it back by yourselves." Then, she turned to the RiverClan cats, her eyes relaxing a bit. "I apologise for their imbecility, and I promise it shall never happen again. But, you shouldn't provoke them. Challenging only shows that you are incapable of settling disagreements with words." The calico she-cat lifted her chin to look down on the opposing Clan's apprentice before pivoting around to her Clan-mates. She then gracefully descended down the rock, flicking her tail in a motion which said 'come with me'.

Ducksnap hated being provoked or in this case being bossed around by a she cat. He cocked his head in answer to her tail swish, why couldn't he claim this territory. Knowing the stupid fish breathes were right because more then one had appeared and a neck bristling spittoon had arisen from a conflict. The last battle? He was caught between fresh anger to attack, or to leave and speak to Spottedstar and admitting his mistake. He glared at the two cats and mouthed 'I will make you pay.' Then he stood there gazing around as if seeing if they were even worthy of his time. Shaking his head he looked at Featherpool, a gaze of pity for the belonging not to fight. But maybe.. He looked at her to see what she did and if he should follow.

FeatherPool snarled and said. "Let's leave these fat cats to stuff themselves more." She grabbed her vole and stalked off into the forest. She would probably share the vole and her story with LightningStrike once she returned. Those RiverClan cats would pay. They were so chubby and fat how could they fight muscular and smart ThunderClan cats?
