Dapplepaws ceremony

Spottedstar looked down on her mingling clan, calling them together for a meeting.

Dapplepaw paddedover. Could this be MY ceremony? He sat and curled his tail over his paws.

"Dapplepaw, please step forward" she mewed before continuing. "I, Spottedstar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. He has trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Wildpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Dapplepaw stepped forward, and listened intentively. "I will." He said proudly.

EagleWing sat in the clearing with his head held high. He was glad to have Dapplepaw as his apprentice, and he was now becoming a warrior. His training was successful and it showed.

Gingerpaw sat down beside EagleWing and stared at Dapplepaw. Excitement filled her paws as she thought about being a warrior herself. She just had to be patient.

Dapplepaw turned his head just slightly and waved to them with his tail. I can't wait until you're a warrior too, Gingerpaw!

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I grant you your warrior name. From this day on, you shall be called Dapplepelt. StarClan honors your loyalty and dedication, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan." She jumped down and rested her muzzle on his head.

Dapplepelt, the new warrior nodded. "Thank you Spottedstar." He said.
