Fox Hunt (Open)

Spotting the orange fur and Dewstars sudden dash, Spottedfeather dashed right next to Sunface, coming to see her leader in death. Being overcome by a huge rage, she screeched and launched herself at the fox. Biting through its ear and slashing through its eyes. She felt the thing drop it load and moving to bite her and yelping. Climbing to its neck, she blindly slashed and kicked, blood spraying all over herself and the fox, her screeches probably heard all the way from camp.

firefur and swifttail were near dewstar as she ran after the fox and as the came clear of the bushes the jumped on the fox one scrabling on its back and the other shreding its side.

Once Dewstar disappeared, Maplebloom was confused by the sound of battle cries, then, she put to parts together and it clicked. She raced after her leader's scent trail. As she stopped at the scene, rage grew inside of her. "You flea-bag! Let go of my leader!" She let out hisses and battle cries as she joined the other cats on top of the fox, clawing and biting.

Goldenpaw had followed Maplebloom to the scene, but was to stunned to do anything. After a moment, she eventually pulled herself to attack. She bit the fox's back leg and wouldn't let go, even when she tasted blood. We'll show this mouse-brained, fox-hearted scum-bag!

Eaglepaw hissed when he saw the fox with Dewstar and other warriors. I'm going to show this fox who's boss! He leaped powerfully on the fox's back and sinks his teeth in its neck. He clawed its face as he did it.

The fox, completely overwhelmed, began panicking and writhing. He dropped the lifeless corpse of Dewstar onto the dusty ground and went under the pile of cats, until the fox had finally bled out and been quite graphically shredded to pieces.

Dewstar sputtered, sitting up and coughing a little blood. Glancing around, she saw that her Clanmates had come to save her from losing her final life to the fox, which they of course didn't know about. She took a deep breath and addressed the cats, clearing her throat some. "Thank you. It was courageous of you all to fight to save me, and rash of myself to charge headfirst without thought of danger. You surely have all done a great service this day."

Sunface, now breaking out of her paralyzed state, moved against her leader's shoulder to help her back to camp. Dewstar accepted without protest, shaken that she had lost almost all of her lives in such trivial ways.

Eaglepaw nodded his head at Dewstar and went to the other side of her to help her. He was glad to help save his leader. If she had died, he would have been made it himself. He will even push himself to learn to fight better. It was a good thing she didn't die at all.

Rosepaw stayed with the other apprentices and was ready to help if needed, but she had only just became an apprentice so she didn't have a lot of training yet
