Sandkit sat in the opening of the Nursery, quietly looking around the Thunderclan camp. It was all still so strange to her, even though she had never really had much experience being a non-clan cat. She figured that she would just have to learn everything by herself, although she had reached this conclusion because of her timidness around the other, older, bigger cats of the clan. She let out a small sigh, "If only I had the courage to talk to someone..." she grumbled to herself.

Rosekit saw Sandkit and padded over. "Hey." She said to her in a friendly way

The tall she-cat flinched a little at the sudden, high-pitched mew from beside her. When she realized it was just another kit, she visibly relaxed. "H-Hello..." she replied, her voice a little shaky from being nervous.

"I-It's alright, I'm just a little edgy around the other cats, is all..." Sandkit looked down at her paws as she explained her seemingly out of place behavior.

Sandkit managed a smile at the other kit. "I'm Sandkit by the way." She felt the need to tell the other cat her name, most likely because the other kit would probably do the same and it would put Sandkit's mind at ease a little more.

"That's a pretty name!" the yellow and brown kit replied cheerily. She knew it was good to make friends with other cats in the clan; you never know when you're going to need a friend.

"Well, I don't know much about these 'clan' sort of things..." Sandkit didn't want to make things awkward between them, "What would you usually do?" The she-kit tried to look tentative, Maybe I can learn more this way! she thought to herself.

"Well were just kits so we cant go out of camp or anything. The kits normally play games together." Rosekit explained

"Games?" she inquired cocking her head to the side in a hint of confusion. Well, Rosekit says it's a clan thing, so I'm open to it!
