Maplepaw' Warrior Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting!" Dewstar yowled loudly, once more atop the High Rock. A small smile flicked across her face, but she hid it and surveyed the clearing with a more serious expression.

Maplepaw yawned and padded out of the apprentice den, sleepily. She looked around and noticed that there was a clan meeting going on. Then, something hit her. She was ready to be a warrior! She groomed her fur and waited for the ceremony to start.

Coalheart looked up from her piece of fresh kill and padded over to the group of cats. Huh. Must be a ceremony. She flicked her tail and sat down, shifting to get comfortable.

Dapplepaw yawned and padded out of the apprentices' den. "I wonder what's going on!" she meowed quietly. She looked around for Coalheart, and saw her sitting by a group of other cats. Padding up to her mentor, she smiled. Another ceremony!

OOC: Warrior name?

"Maplepaw, please step forward." Dewstar looked down on the apprentice, who seemed to have gotten excited. "I, Dewstar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. She has trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Maplepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Maplepaw stepped forward proudly at her leader's words. She looked up and nodded happily. "Yes Dewstar, I do."

OOC: Maplebloom

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I grant you your warrior name. From this day on, you shall be called Maplebloom. We welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan." She jumped down and rested her muzzle on Maplebloom's forehead.

Coalheart purred and smiled. Another warrior! ThunderClan is so lucky to have cats like this. She padded up to the new warrior. "Congratulations, Maplebloom!" she purred.

Dapplepaw looked over at her old denmate and stood up. She trotted over to her friend and smiled. "Congrats, Maplebloom!" she meowed.

Maplebloom purred and turned to Coalheart and Dapplepaw. "Thanks guys!"

The two cats purred. "You're welcome!" Dapplepaw meowed. Coalheart nodded and smiled. "You're welcome. ThunderClan is very lucky to have new warriors."
