Heatherpaw padded in through the tunnel, carrying a rabbit in her jaws. "Another Clan meeting?" she asked nobody in particular. She trotted up to two kits and sat down behind them. The golden apprentice noticed that the two kits were Mintkit and Scarletkit.

With the two soon-to-be-apprentices now there, Falconstar went ahead and continued. "Mintkit and Scarletkit, from now until you become warriors, you will be known as Mintpaw and Scarletpaw. Your mentors will be Owlheart and Brindlesong."
