Dawn enters the Camp

Stormflight came into camp with the squirrel in his jaws. He turned to make sure Dawn was still behind him

"Yes, I'm still right here," Dawnkit mewed, annoyed. "And I don't wanna be!"

"You will be fine." STormflight tried to assure her. He dropped the squirrel off at the freshkill pile and called for the leader from outside the den. "Thrushstar!" He called

Despite her annoyance, Dawn's curiosity got the better of her. "Thrushstar? What's a thrushstar?"

"He's the leader of my clan." STormflight explained.

"Leader? Like in charge?" Dawn asked. If she was going to be stuck here, she may as well learn what exactly 'here' was.

"Yeah." Stormflight answered

"Thrushstar is a weird name," she added, reflectively.

Stormflight just rolled his eyes and waited for a response from him so he could enter the den

Quickly jumping at the chance for something to do, Thrushstar exited his den to see Stormflight and... another rogue kitten. Dear Starclan, what was going on with these rogue mothers? "What is it, Stormflight?" He asked, turning back to the warrior.

"When I was out hunting today I met up with a longer cat named Leo. He came by to drop off his sister because he wanted her to be safe so he wouldn't have to see her hurt. Can she stay with us?" Stormflight said and then asked at the end

"Keep her safe?" he repeated, giving Stormflight a strange look before looking at Dawn and back to the warrior. "Then he brought her here for the wrong reason..." There was no way that this kit would be safe in Shadowclan. That was part of the life of a warrior which is the reason that warriors swear to protect their clan even at the cost of their own life. There wasn't anything safe about clan life. There was starvation, sickness, fighting. Safe was not an option.

"Who are you?" Dawn asked the stranger, backing away slowly. "Is this that leader with a weird name?" she asked, looking to Stormflight.
