Brackenkit and Goldenkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Dewstar stood atop the Highrock for yet another set of apprentice ceremonies, calling out her usual call.

Brackenkit bounded into the clearing, his tail raised in the air, and his chest puffed out in pride. He sat down below the Highrock and waited for Dewstar to call his name.

Coalheart was just about to get a piece of fresh kill when Dewstar called for a Clan meeting. While she was walking to sit by the Clan, she purred as she noticed two kits sitting at the base of the rock. 'Yep, an apprentice ceremony!' she purred even harder. Coalheart thought kits were absolutely adorable.

Goldenkit ran out of the nursery, her fur tangled and messy. Once she saw what was going on, she cleaned it right away. She knew she was going to be an apprentice soon, so this had to be her ceremony.

"Hey, Goldenkit!" Coalheart called.

Goldenkit looked over to the cat that was calling her name. "Hi!" She said as she walked over to Coalheart

"Are you excited?" Coalheart purred. Sitting down behind Brackenkit, she patted a spot next to her with her tail.

Goldenkit sat down were Coalheart motioned her to sit. "Ya," She replied. "Very."

Brackenpaw dipped his head politely to Dewstar, and padded away from the Highrock, his tail raised proudly in the air.

Goldenpaw jumped up and down excitedly, her long fur bouncing with her. This is so cool! She thought to herself.
