| ooc: Just for anyone who doesn't know, Oriole was just travelling before she found SkyClan.
ic: A slight breeze shifting through the dark, night sky. The glittering moon, shining on the river, gently washing through the forest of SkyClan territory. All was silent. Not a sound, not even the usual owls. Oriolewing sat in the branch of a tall oak tree, her tail hanging down. She let out a hearty sigh, staring out into the territory with confusion in her eyes. She loved SkyClan and all the cats, but was this really for her? She never minded travelling. In fact, she liked seeing all the different things and cats. She never had much of a problem hunting, so it didn't bother her. Do I really belong here? She often thought that the other cats never accepted her as much, having no home for such a long time. And why did they accept her in the first place? SkyClan had more than enough cats by the time she first came. Oriolewing didn't usually sulk in a tree, and she always tried to keep herself perky and happy. But she was having doubts about spending the rest of her life in a Clan. Could I really handle a fight between Clans? She could never exactly bring herself to fight back when rogues attacked her. She would just run away. She looked at the shining river, stretching through the forest. She blinked her amber eyes, her head more drowsy every time she blinked. I should probably get back... But she didn't move. She missed the silent comfort of the forest at night. Here, she didn't have to act perky and happy. Here, she could enjoy the forest she loved. "But why did they invite me in?" She first came to SkyClan travelling along the river. A dog had chased her all the way from WindClan. How was she supposed to know there was a Clan of cats there? A patrol had seen her, but a dog came up and chased her. Of course the cats didn't help. So she just ran, faster than she did before. She had feared for her life. That's when the SkyClan warriors came in, saving her from the dog, leaving it running away yelping. She had been scared, tired, in need of shelter. When they invited the she-cat in, who could refuse? They had shelter, food, cats that knew how to use herbs. A Clan full of friends. She believed this was the main reason of her accepting to join - having friends. But so far, she just had cranky Creamstorm. Creamstorm was mean, but Oriolewing could tell that they were friends. She didn't treat Oriolewing like she did other cats. "I guess that's progress," she mewed silently to herself. ______________________________________ (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚

| Streamfern yawned as she padded out of camp, deciding to take a walk as the stars ascended into the sky. She didn't really have anyone to do anything with, and she certainly wasn't very important in the clan. Though she hadn't fully wrapped her head around being a Clan cat, she certainly made use of the perks, such as free food and shelter without worrying about being chased out for intruding. Seeing the calico silhouette of Oriolewing in a tree branch, she yowled a hello and leapt up to join her, being careful to leave a respectful distance between them. "So... um... How's clan life working for you?" Mentally facepalming in a cat way, Streamfern hissed in her mind to herself, 'Could you be any more awkward, Streamfern? Any more awkward? Great. Good job messing everything up, mousebrain!' |

| Oriolewing looked up, putting the same, ditzy smile she gave to every cat. "Hi!" She squeaked, scrambling down from the tree. "I love it!" She faked a happy-as-can-be smile. She didn't want cats to think she doubted her original decision to be a part of SkyClan. ______________________________________ (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚

| "Hey, can I tell you something? I'm not sure I like this whole Skyclan idea. It's just... I would hate for an apprentice to get hurt or something while I'm in charge of them, you know? And I'm not good at the whole jumping thing... I can barely make it half as far as Silentstar can! I guess I'm mainly just worried about messing everything up." Streamfern's ears lowered a bit before perking up again. "Though I may just be fretting over nothing like I usually do." Smiling a bit, she sat down facing Oriolewing. "Would you mind not telling Silentstar that? It's not that I'm not loyal or anything, just worried that this isn't the right life for me." |

| Oriolewing looked at the cat in confusion. Was there really another cat with doubts? At least she wasn't the only one. But wasn't she being a bit up front about it? She never really Talked to Streamfur before, but then again, wasn't everyone her friend? "Everyone has doubts," she reassured her Clanmate. "Some just choose to hide it." ______________________________________ (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚

| Streamfern smiled at Oriolewing. "Thanks. I needed that. A lot. You know, I don't really have any close friends in Skyclan. I mean, I'm everyone's friend, but I'm not close friends with anyone." She sighed quietly, but just loud enough for Oriolewing to hear. I just want one or two really good, reliable friends, you know? Not just friends that are just there, not there for me, if that makes sense." Looking up at silverpelt, she closed her eyes for a fleeting moment of silence. Opening them and turning back to Oriolewing, she smiled a bit and sat down, her tail curling around her paws. |

| The long furred silver she cat Jayflight padded out of the warriors den after a long nap. She shook her fur as she padded up to Streamfern and Oriolewing. "Hi guys." Jayflight mewed with a smile. "Quite weird thinking there are five Clans now. My parents always told myths about a fifth Clan- they used to be in one of the four Clans, then left to find SkyClan. They never did and they got too old to continue journeying so they left us here."
Jayflight was always a chatter box, and could never keep her jaws shut. Hollyshade was sitting in a dark corner of camp, watching her perfect sister meow on about their parents. The black and white she-cat was using her excellent hearing to eaves-drop on Jayflight. ______________________________________ Ozymandias I met a traveller from an antique land, Who said—“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand, Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown, And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command, Tell that its sculptor well those passions read Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things, The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed; And on the pedestal, these words appear: My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings; Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair! Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away." -Percy Bysshe Shelley |

| Streamfern's fur raised for a second before she noticed it was Jayflight. "Oh, hi, Jayflight. I wouldn't really know, as I've been a rouge my whole life." Glancing over at Hollyshade, she smiled and motioned for her to join the trio of she-cats. |

| Cloverleaf padded over to the cats that we're chatting. "Whats going on over here?" Cloverleaf mewed setteling down curling her tail over her paws "Are you guys telling your life storys?" She groomed her paw her ears perked.
