What are the duties of a medicine cat: Every part in the clan is equally important in their own way. The medicine cat however holds a position that is vital to the health of the clan. Warriors can not battle other cats and defend their clan, if they are already battling a cough. A clan can not grow if there is no one there to aid the birthing of new clan members. This is why there is a Medicine cat. To aid the sick, to help the bringing of new life into a clan, to help the leader with visions and messages. This is the purpose of a medicine cat, to help bring his/her respective clan to greatness.
What you would do with this position: Clover- is a cat who has, despite her young age, started to develop a growing connection with StarClan. She has an undying respect for these cats and because of this, has them guide her towards what is right. This is a very important part of being a MCA, because it helps with the interpretation of dreams and messages from StarClan. With this position, I will RP this cat with all of my ability. She will not only help maintain the health and prosperity of the clan, but guide RiverClan to greatness with the help of none other than StarClan.
Why you think you deserve this position: To me, being the MCA for RiverClan would be a MAJOR honor. I may not deserve it as much as others, but I will do everything in my being to be the most well-fit person for the position.
As you may have noticed, I have begun a position in RPing more avidly. However, I feel as though to receive the most effective results for me and those I RP with, I must make it as interesting as possible. Through becoming a medicine cat, I will not only remain an active part of the WCC RPing community, but I will grow in experience as a writer.
