Playtime in the Morning

Outside of the nursery was a small cream kit rolled up in a ball. The young she-cat; Morningkit, was just enjoying the sunlight that sparkled though the branches high above the camp. However, after lying there for a while, she opened up one of her eyes with a soft sigh. This was boring! The sunlight was nice on her coat, but she didn't want to just lay in the camp all day; she wanted to have fun! She pulled herself to her paws with a small huff, shaking the dust off of her pelt. She flickered her gaze around the camp, her tail twitching. What was she going to do?

Amberpaw was eating a vole at the fresh-kill pile. She tilted her head to see a small kit looking around the camp with a bit of boredom in her eyes.. Amberpaw finished her vole and padded over to the young she-cat. "Hi my name is Amberpaw! You look a bit bored. I know something to do if your bored!" Amberpaw mewed excitedly. Now that she was an apprentice she wanted to be a good role model to the kits. She felt more important now.

Morningkit blinked in surprise when she saw Amberpaw come over to her, and her tail swished as she stared at the older she-cat. "Oh...I'm Morningkit." However, her eyes sparkled when Amberpaw finished talking, a grin appearing on her face. "Y-You do? What is it?" Morningkit was dying to do something exciting; and she was sure that apprentices knew all of the best games in the world. Just what kind of fun would Amberpaw share with her was the real question.
