How to Fly

A small form opened their eyes, to find themselves floating above the ground without a care. The air felt crisp, and yet misty at the same time. The kit didn't show any surprise or concern, only content to hover gently. Though her small grey paws never moved, the young kitten glided forward at a walking pace. Many ghostly forms flicked by, both merry and malicious. The uneventful adventure ended when the daydreaming (or is it dreamdreaming?) she-cat bombed into a more solid form, landing on the ground with a soft thump. "Oh.. I'm sorry.", the tiny voice apologized before looking up. Who was this? She didn't recognize them, which should have been obvious since her life was from this point had been very short and she was still very much alive.

Snowface looked down at the small kit. "It's ok," the dead she-cat purred.

The kitten's green eyes widened in wonder. She wanted to know who this cat was, but even more so what this place was. "Where is this place?", she asked, head tilted in curiosity. "And who are you? I'm Pebblekit." The young one sat down, and somehow her fur wasn't ruffled in the slightest. Due to it's shortness or the area, she didn't know.
