Flamegaze padded out into the dawn light, breathing in the cool air of new-leaf. Still trying to shake off sleep, he padded over to the fresh-kill pile, which was beginning to dwindle despite the coming warmth. Feeling a little guilty, the young tom pulled a bird from the pile, then glanced around for somecat to share tongues with. Maybe I'll take Foxpaw hunting later, he thought, settling down for his breakfast when he realized there weren't many cats out and about at the moment.

OOC: crap sorry. I lost all motivation to post anywhere after finding out my poor clan isn't going to exist anymore ;-;

"Greetings, Flamegaze," Mousetail called to him as she padded out of the warrior's den. She hadn't been too far behind him when he first walked out, but she was still trying to wake herself up. It was hard to get up early in the morning, but here she was finally, and the only one she seemed to find was the tom. Moving closer to him, she saw the bird he had picked up and her stomach responded with a loud grumble. She was hungrier than she thought she was. "Uh, how are you this morning?" she asked, trying to embarrassingly ignore her tummy.

"Mornin' Mousetail." The tom wasn't much for formal greetings. As he looked up, he suppressed a chuckle, hearing her stomach growl. "I'm good. You want some?" Flamegaze had already eaten some of the bird, so he didn't mind nudging it towards his clanmate.

"Oh, heh... Sure," she replied softly as she sat down next to him before awkwardly taking a small bite out of the bird. She didn't really want to take his meal, but he had offered and so she wasn't going to say no. It was a little strange to have him be so nice, especially when they haven't really talked, but hey there was a time for everything. After taking a few more bites, she pushed the bird back his direction. There was still a good bit left, but she figured she would grab her own shortly. She didn't want to be that rude and take all of his breakfast. "Thanks Flamegaze," she told him happily, a small smile breaking on her face to show her appreciation. "That was very delicious!"
