Bringing Sexy Back [CLOSED]

Addertail padded out of the warriors' den, looking up at the night-sky that was beginning to turn pink in color. It would be dawn soon. Perhaps he'd go on the dawn patrol this morning? His foot still hurt a little from about a week ago(despite not knowing what a week is) when he fought with Spottedfeather against those Shadowclan cats. He didn't like the looked he had gotten from them...It disturbed him a little. Now was not the time for thinking about that, however. Addertail couldn't fall asleep again; he was wide awake now. Perhaps he should just sit down and wait for the others to wake up, or go tell the cat on night-watch that he/she could go get some rest now. Maybe he'd do that...
Suddenly his plans were interrupted as someone else appeared. Woosh.

Drowsily shaking her ginger pelt, Sunface stretched and gave a big yawn as she left the warriors' den just shortly after Addertail. When she saw him, she trotted over and gave a playful purr. "Hey furball. Did your leg keep you awake?"

Ic: Addertail rolled his eyes, just as playful. "No, but your snoring might have." He joked, giving her a gentle shove. It was always fun to talk to Sunface. She always had something in mind, though for the past few moons they've been too busy to talk a lot. Now she was a warrior as well, so maybe they could catch up.

"I don't snore! Maybe if you weren't always pressed so close to me, you wouldn't hear me breathing." She teased and then returned the shove. She was glad to be near her friend again. It felt like he was her only friend sometimes; not that she didn't have any others, but Addertail was the only one who really understood her. And he could stand her constant insults and jokes and even return them.

"Ha, okay. I'm kidding." Addertail purred, wrapping his tail over his paws and getting in a more comfortable sitting position. See, she was fun to talk to. He was glad to be joking with her instead of constantly on his paws with the occasional sit-down-and-eat-really-fast gig. It was a good way to start his morning. "So how's it feel to be a warrior now? There's a lot more freedom." The tom asked.

She chuckled and answered, "There you go, answering the question for me! It sure beats being an apprentice. I can finally eat before leaving, too. I get more respect from my Clanmates, though I can't say the same for cats from ShadowClan." Sunface huffed, remembering in annoyance the mean tom who didn't know the Thunderpath when he was on it.

"Unfortunately I don't think anything will change with Shadowclan anytime soon." Addertail agreed, then perked his ears. You know what? Forget the border patrol. He wanted to spend time with one of his friends for once. "Hey, want to go hunting?" He asked, mossy eyes glittering the same way they used to when he was an apprentice getting out of camp for the fist time.

She recognized the familiar spark in his eyes. "Why hunt when we can just explore? I mean, we're warriors now. We don't need anyone to watch over us. Let's take advantage of that and have some real fun. Besides, it's Leaf-bare; we wouldn't catch anything if we tried." She smiled a toothy grin and a similar shine came to her eyes.

"Alright! Where to?" He asked, suddenly excited. Addertail felt memories fill his head of exploring the territory with his mentor when he was younger...

A kit-like energy spread through her limbs and a giggle escaped her mouth. "Let's climb the Great Sycamore- or check out Sunningrocks! No, wait, let's go to Snakerocks! Dewstar wouldn't let me go there 'cause it's ''too dangerous,'' but I'm a warrior now!" She had shaken off all hint of sleep; today was going to be so great! She bounced side to side on her paws, feeling warm despite the cold winds and soft layers of snow.

Addertail laughed. "Normally, it would be dangerous because of all the adders that hide in there; but that's just if you're alone." He huffed, her excitement never failing to entertain him. "We're together though, so sure, why not?" I've never been able to get a good look at Snakerocks...This ought to be fun. He thought, tail raised and hooked at the tip automatically to show he was happy. "Maybe after that we'll have time to go to the Great Sycamore, too!" Addertail purred, though maybe he was getting a little too excited.

"Oh, that sounds great! Let's go, before someone tries to drag us on a patrol." Sunface looked from side to side before darting from her spot and through the tunnel. She looked back at him as she ran, an unspoken challenge to see who could get there the fastest.

Addertail raced after her, smiling because cats can totally do that and not look weird. He wasn't the fastest runner, but he had strong legs and had an age advantage...Sort of. Okay he wasn't that much older than her...Just a few moons, really; and over those few moons he practiced battle more than speed. Luckily, he managed to keep pace with her...For now.

After the tussle with the ShadowClan tom, she'd gotten her ear ripped and scarred. Consequently, she preferred hunting and running to fighting and ruining her drop-dead gorgeous looks. She had developed a lithe form during her apprentice training and had the addition of quite long legs thanks to her wonderful, long-legged mother. Maybe she would be a wonderful, long-legged mother someday... Even with her advantage, her small paws sunk through the snow and slowed her down. The she-cat was struggling for breath by the time she reached infamous rocks and she slowed down to a halt to suck in the cold air. It didn't help that she was laughing uncontrollably with happiness.

Addertail came panting to a stop beside her. Yes, despite his slower legs, he was stronger and got through the snow easier, so they had mainly kept pace with each other. "So...Who won?" Addertail breathed, eyes glittering with amusement. He shook snow from his fur and looked up at the rocks they had arrived to.
