Deerpaw and Mistpaw's Ceremony

The sun was peeking out from behind the clouds as a nervous Falconfang made his way to the Tallrock, bunching up his muscles and leaping to the top. He had never been up here before; this was the place for a leader to make announcements, after all. Raccoonstar wasn't up to the task at the current time however, so it was up to the deputy to take her place, at least for the time being. Apprentices needed their ceremonies, after all. Swallowing down a case of nerves, he stepped forward as he had seen Raccoonstar - and Stormstar before her - do many times and let out a loud call: "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Tallrock for a clan meeting!" This felt unnatural for a cat who was not the leader to do, but it needed to be done, so hopefully he would sound confident enough for the rest of his clan to follow suit.
