"Where'd it go," he gasped. Dragonkit whirled in circles then caught another.

| The nursery entrance shook slightly as Wrenkit stumbled outside, cursing into the cold air. White frosty air spiraled up towards the sky as she exhaled, then faded into nothingness. Her ears flickered and she glanced towards the two kits. She sighed, stretching with a flick of her tail. She snorted a little as a sudden cold fell onto her nose, feeling as if it froze her whole face. She reached up, pawing her nose-- and only succeeding in making it colder.
"Ugh..

She responded, her voice cool with a hint of bitter. Her whiskers twitched as the faint smell of the dwindling fresh-kill pile drifted towards her. The tabby's stomach rumbled quietly, and she started speaking to Phoenixkit without turning to face her.
