The New Arrivals

Silverbreeze had been careful the past few days knowing she was close to kitting. She slowly started to get to her paws when she felt a twinge of pain that soon started to hurt more she didn't bother getting back to her paws all she knew was that the kits were coming. She winced slightly before she called for Stormclaw and the medicine cat.

Stormclaw listened to his mates distressed call. He rushed over to the nursery, seeing her in pain. "Silverbreeze, what?" he mewed, not yet realizing what was happening.

OOC: Crap o3o forgot that Kes hasn't been on in a little...

Silverbreeze looked at her mate with pain filled eyes"t...the kits Stormclaw they are coming"she mewed in a pain filled voice.

Lichencloud came as soon as he heard. With his jaw filled with the correct things. Dumping it next to the queen, he looked at the tom. "Go get her a stick, then a ball of moss with fresh river water. There's some in my den." With that, he pressed his paws to her side.

OOC: How many kits?

Stormclaw nodded to Lichencloud, still quite shocked that the kits were actually coming. He rushed out of the nursery and looked around camp. He picked up a good sturdy stick and brought it back inside the nursery, only to rush back out. He went over to the medicine cat den, getting a ball of moss, he ran over to the river. Getting the moss ball soaked, he carried it carefully back to the nursery, setting it back down next to his mate. He backed off slightly, not quite knowing if he should give her space or stay nearby.

Silverbreeze looked at Lichencloud then watched as her mate left to fetch what the medicine cat wanted him to get. She moved slightly when he pressed a paw to her side.

"Two kits." he said curtly. "Hand her the stick." he said, flicking his tail to the mate. "Then back up and give her space." Lichencloud circled the queen, watching her console. "When I say push, you push. Okay?"

"ok"Silverbreeze mewed her eyes were focused on her mate.

Stormclaw silently gave her the stick before saying one thing to her. "You'll be fine" he mewed softly before back up and out of the den. He would wait for them to call him in. Plus, he didn't want to see his mate in pain.

She gripped the stick between her teeth and watched as Stormclaw went outside the nursery. She winced and bite on the stick as a ripple of pain passed through her.

"Push!" Lichenclouod howled when it was time.

Silverbreeze pushed when Lichencloud told her too she gripped the stick harder between her teeth.

((OOC:Gonna assume it's time for Heronkit to show up))

As the queen pushed, a light gray tabby kit slid out. He let out a squeak of surprise at the sudden cold and began wriggling around, trying to find warmth.
