Adderkit's first Day

Adderkit's eyes shot open, and he squinted when the harsh sunlight poured in. He got to his tiny paws, and stumbled outside, blinking. "Whoah!" he murmured. "Look at the camp!" As his eyes adjusted to the day, he gazed in wonder at the WindClan Camp around him. Cats were milling around, eating prey and chatting with other clanmates. "Cool!" he exclaimed.

Foxkit ran out of the nursery. Seeing his brother, he called, "Hey, Adderkit!" Running over, he mewed, "What are you doing?"

Willowkit padded out of the nursery, catching sight of Foxkit and Adderkit. Willowkit blushed slightly, padding next to them.

Adderkit smiled at Willowkit. "Hi Willowkit," he mewed nicely. "What's up?" He sat down, and his amber-green gaze surveyed the camp. "I can't wait to become an apprentice," he said. "That would be awesome. Exploring the territory, hunting, training. It's like a dream."

"I can't wait either." Willowkit smiled a little smile, flicking her jet black tail.

Foxkit's eyes twinkled mischievously. "Why wait? We can go exploring right now!"

Willowkit's eyes widened to huge discs. "E-explore? W-w-when we're n-not sup-p-posed to?" She mewed nervously

Foxkit shrugged. "Why not? We can come back before anyone knows."

"Oh, I don't know." Willowkit whispered. What are you thinking? Not going exploring with Foxkit! She thought, blushing slightly.

Adderkit punched his little brother in the arm. "You're scaring her!" he laughed. "But seriously, Willowkit. It'll be fun!" A smirk spread across his face. "Besides, you'll be able to see what the territory's gonna be like. Haven't you always wanted to go see?"

"Oh, alright then. As long as you guys know what your doing." Willowkit conceded, blushing again.

Foxkit sprang up. "Let's go! Where do you think we should go, Adderkit? You're smarter than me."

Mistkit hopped out of the nursery. "Wait for me!" She squealed and accidentaly bumped into Adderkit. "Sorry!" The shining silver she-kit gasped and untangled her long sweeping tail from Adderkit. Sorting herself out, Mistkit licked a paw and sat down. "Are we going to explore the territory?"

Thornkit heard commotion outside and followed after his excited sister. "That sounds cool." He joined and padded up to Willowkit. "Hi, I'm Thornkit. What's your name?" He asked politely.
