Medicine Cat Meeting 01/08/2014

Leaf-bare had taken a firm grasp on the land, blanketing the moor in front of Highstones in a thick layer of snow. In the sky, the moon was only half full, heralding the medicine cat meeting. The stars twinkled across the sky, a few wisps of clouds shadowing them for moments at a time. A cold chill rolled across the fresh, untouched powder, blowing it up in white clouds across the ground. Here and there, a dead, crisp bush poked through the snow, and large boulders and stones littered the ground, but that was it. The mothermouth stood as dark and uninviting as ever, scaring away those who did not know it's divine contents.

Hailstorm shivered as he climbed the rocks to reach the entrance of the Mother Mouth. He lowered his ears looking into the dark. He lifted one of his lips showing a few teeth, the darkness always scared him but he wanted to get over the fear of the darkness of the Mother Mouth, because he knew and hoped that that there was nothing there that could hurt him or the others in the shadows; He moved his neck to look onto the ground below, as he waited for the others.
