Lionpaw looked up from his padding. "A new kit!" he mewed. "Cool!" He bounded over to the kit. "Hi there," he mewed. "I'm Lionpaw! Who might you be?"

Shadepaw rolled his eyes but padded behind his younger brother. "I'm Shadepaw," he added. "The cat that's more awesome than Lionpaw." Lionpaw cuffed him. "I take offense to that!" Shadepaw shoved him. "Exactly."

"Alright you two. Behave in front of the kit," Thrushstripe told them as he padded over from the freshkill pile to see what the apprentices were up to. It was always good to see the cats being able to have fun together, but he didn't them scaring a new kit. Joining their little circle thing, the deputy sat down and looked at Soulkit. "Hey there, Soulkit. What are you up to tonight?" He asked, finally being able to meet the small kit for the first time since he was born.

Ravenkit padded out of the nursery and saw Soulkit, Lionpaw, Shadepaw and Thrushstripe. She approached them cautiously.

Snowfall walked out of her den. "Ah hello little one. And hello Thrustripe." Snowfall was happy to see the new kit and her old mentor.

Snowfall looked at the kit happily. "Well I'm Snowfall! And my mentor was Thrustripe!" Snowfall said excitedly. She felt good to be older. She layed down by the kit prepared to listen to the lot talk. "And what's your name?" She asked maturely.

Shadepaw (flame) just shrugged. "I'm as old as you, Snowfall. Maybe older," he said, rolling his eyes. "I'm not a kit. Even though it was directed to Soulkit. Nightstar was a wonderful mentor." He said. He patted Soulkit on the head. "You'll get a good mentor. Don't worry."

Lionpaw (strike) giggled before he collapsed promptly on the ground. "I'm bored," he groaned. "There's nothing to do!"
